I havent really been posting much recently nor keeping proper track of my syns which I know have been creeping up. I have been suffering a lot of headaches (almost daily) which Im putting down to either stress or the fact that I need new glasses. My new glasses have been ordered so we will see! although as I wasnt happy with my first eye test (the service was poor) I had a second eye test with a different optician and that gave me a completely different prescription !
welcome to new members though. lovely to have you here. I need to go back a few pages and catch up properly and hello to all the regulars, skint catt, angie, judders, retired lady :j
I made the decision today that Im not going to continue with the distance learning course that I was doing and thus I will no longer be taking the exam for it in May.
If I had planned properly, I would be enduring two and a half months of solid revision now and not trying to do more than half the course in so little time! I know this is off topic but I feel that this stress in part is why I have been struggling with the SW and thus no more studying means a happier me especially when I start my crafting again and therefore I look forward to getting to target real soon.
One thing I need to work on is not eating just for the sake of it or eating that (synful) treat) because (I know I) will enjoy it and think that by eating it, I will feel calmer / less stressed... does anyone else find that?0 -

I love Pom-Bear's and they are only 5 sins a packet. French fries and Golden Wonder lights are only 4.5sins too.
Why not make your own tortilla's if, like me, you like the "crunch"? Par boil lasagne sheets for 5 mins or so until just soft. Cut in half width ways, then into half again into triangles. Put on a baking sheet sprayed with fry light and spray the triangles with fry light too. Bake on the top shelf inthe oven gas mark 8 for around 5-7 mins turning around half way through. You can sprinkle them with bbq seasoning, black pepper, salt or whatever you fancy before you put them in the oven.
Watch them carefully as you cook them as they catch really easily and quickly go from raw to burnt. They store really well in an airtight container.
Can anyone recommend any sin-free salsa recipes that I can dip my lasagna tortila's into??
Do you syn these?
I think they come under slimming worlds "misuse of free foods" like chick pea "peanuts" & dont count as a free food.0 -

Hi everyone, an old-time slimming worlder here, need to give HUGE thanks to Judderman for the spreadsheet, it will come in very handy when I find time to add my treats to it. Am also going to add sheets for spending diary so only have to open one workbook every day.
I have been back at (Fat) club for a couple of months now and not doing too well the weight is bouncing up & down like a rubber ball:o.
I can't seem to get my head into it this time - bored at work = biscuits, gym and swimming every night after work = no energy/will to cook in the evenings.
I am hoping if I can join all you lovely, supportive people that I can get over these hurdles and lose the final stone that I seem to have become extremely attached to :rotfl:.
Here's hoping!!!!
