thank you for that. I got 31 syns too but is that 31 syns for the whole pack??? 9.5 syns for the whole pack if eating on green??? that syn calculator is too damn confusing
Yes that is correct, it is for the whole packet. So if you are eating half obviously only count half the syns. I put in the whole package for the calculation so it looks like the best to eat on green or EE, wouldn't touch it on red!:eek:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Hi Katrina
We count the Lorne Sausage as 5 syns a slice when we have it. After learning my local butcher has a delivery from Aberdeen every Sunday the OH had to order some and a couple of Haggis. So when he comes to visit we occasionally have a breakfast with it as a treat

Hello everyone.. I've been lurking on this thread for a while but I've finally got my head in the right place and I'm off to join my local SW club tomorrow. Does anyone know if there are any special offers for new starts at the moment?

Hi Oss
Thanks for that, I might give it a go next week.
I was thinking I would try and have a red week this week as last week was all green, and I really want to kick start things in the right direction. I found green so easy though and I'm not sure what to have on red that's as easy. I've got 7 tins of tuna in the cupboard, but I would normally have pasta and sweetcorn with that so not sure what to do with it for red. I don't like using my syns on main meals, I prefer to save them for snacks, although now I've found out that my Ryvita counts as a HEb I have more spare than I had before.
I had a lot of cous cous, mug shots and pasta n sauce last week, can anyone suggest red equivalents in terms of ease, or do I just have to stock up on meat lol!0 -

Well done, also took me a while to get my head in the right place, such an important part of starting SW i think!
I joined last week & it was £10, i think thats around £5 less than usual, I also paid for a 5 week countdown so I got a free week. Just hoping all my hard work this week will pay off at WI tomorrow!0 -
