nic, you can still save the day!

If you're out for lunch I tend to find red easier (meat and salad/veg is easier to find than veggie/pasta without naughty sauces) but if you know where you're going then you can plan or if you haven't all decided then maybe you coud influence where you go?

You'll feel much better later for getting on track after such a start than if you let the whole thing go!

    Good luck!

Still unsure about EE - has anyone given it a full week and what did you lose? I think I'll still have a good selection of red and green (I know they DO work!) but will do the odd EE for times where I want REAL cottage pie (not with yukky swede!) :j Oooh and MEAT lasagnes!!!

OH's already told me he prefers Quorn chilli/curry's to meat now!

Your right SC, Ill think ill start today and go for red as I have chicken in the fridge, and I can use the toast as HEB, ill maybe get some salad to go with the chicken. I feel a bit more positive now. Its so hard to get back on it when you stop , even for a week. Ill also leave EE til next week to see how everyone who is doing it gets on. sorry to use you all as guinea pigs. But I also love red and green as I know they work. But im also dying to have meat lasagnes, lamb curry with rice, or burgers and chips.
Ill find out tomorrow at class how eveyone else has got on. im dreading getting weighed.

I know I've put on at least 11lbs since my lowest weight (at my last attempt at SW) - probably 4 of those are from Xmas. I hope to lose the Xmas poundage this week when I get back on the water and the fruit! :j

I bought a pedometer at the weekend - its amazing how far you walk just around shops and the house actually (6miles!!!) but its still not enough (6500 steps - should be over 10,000).

OH has signed us up to do the Moonlight Breast Cancer Sponsored Walk in June - 26 miles  Something to aim for and the training should help my weight loss!

Might ask a colleague who lies close to me if she wants to walk in and back from work sometimes in the spring (2 miles each way - its a start!) - might be less painful with someone to talk to!

Judders I've had lots of basic ones over the year and they're not very accurate. This one was £4.99 from Maplins while I was browsing waiting for OH to find an optical cable  It's still quite a cheap/basic one, but seems to be more accurate and measures steps/distance/calories burnt and has a stopwatch and a clock on it. I think you can set targets too and it makes a noise to let you know you've achieved it but I haven't fully explored it yet. Forgot to put it on this morning to see how many steps I do at work in a day! Will try tomorrow.

Hi all - i am new to this thead and this is my 2nd attempt at slimming world. Have about 2 stone to lose and am feeling really focused. As i am on a very tight budget i can't afford to go to the classes at the minute, but should cope ok using my food directory and my best friend who is also doing it, for guidance!

    Wish me luck.

Doing green days this week - leek and potato soup for lunch with a muller light, and a stir fry with chicken breast and soy sauce for dinner.

Well I just got back from class and am....well was going to say surprised at how much I have put back on but maybe Im not really..... just upset with myself for falling so far from the wagon

ANyway from what has been said in class the EE plan seems too good to be true , think I might stick to red and green for this week as they are familiar and then next week throw in a couple of EE days to see.

Our consultant was on the trial for EE and convinced me that it really does work as well as the other plans, so its got to be worth a try :rotfl:

ANyway just got to wait in now for my sw friendly Tesco shop that is coming later and live off pasta in sauce until then!!
