Your book will still be written in by the weighing lady. Each member will have a swipe type membership card so when they go to get weighed their card will be swiped which will bring up their details. You will not be able to weight more than once (like - oh no I should have lost more than that, let me run to the loo and have a wee first!:rotfl:)! Also I understand that we will each have a membership number which will also be required to use the website - so no more sharing the password:o! And I am sure someone told me that the computer is preset to the weigh in times, so if someone comes in late they won't be able to get weighed but can't see how that will work to be honest. Also you will have to make sure you prebook your holidays or you will be charged for missing a class - think it is going to be a bit of a shock to a lot of us at first!

This is quite right Marion (and it will indeed be a shock to a few members). As far as I understand, though I'm not digital yet, we won't be able to weigh anyone early but a little late shouldn't be a problem, I think there are means to extend if necessary.
I have a problem in as much as I have always started group early (around 6pm instead of 7pm). I reason that I'm there anyway so why lock the doors when members would like to get weighed on their way to work or even, shock, horror, on their way out for an evening. I have been chastised by my district managerso I have to be less 'flexible' with my timing now

Dr. Neil proclaimed the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.......
So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished; and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonay , a bole of Baileys, a butle of Kehuha, a pockage of biscuits , the mainder of bot Prozic and Valum scriptins, the res of the Chesescke, some saltins an a bax a cholates............ is there anyone who attends the SW class each week who has gone digital??? this is about to happen in our group but I just wondered how it all works? as surely we must still have our weigh in sheets and our weight record logged in our books otherwise, how will our consultant know how we have all done?
Hi Flat Eric, sorry for the late reply but im just catching up after a long weekend.
My class has been digital for a while. We come in and my consultant has her laptop, you give her your card, she pops you in the laptop reader thingy, then you step on the scales and it all updates, You also hand over your book and she writes in that too.
When you are all sitting down going round everyones weight loss etc she uses a hand held computer and reads off that. The only problem with that is noone seems to be able to work them very well and it gets all confused, but usually gets a laugh. We still get the normal password, so I dont know if that will change soon, we never told that would happen.
And people can still come in late, sometimes she leaves them til after the talk. hope that all makes sense?
I personally dont see what difference it has made changing over, its certainly not any quicker.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

I’ve just jumped back on the slimming wagon having fallen off it a good few months ago. Definitely more positive about it this time and have been looking through my SW Cookbooks and am full of inspiration!
I left my SW group just before I joined this forum not being able to afford it and now with the changes feel I should rejoin. I guess if I can’t seem to motivate myself I don’t know who will be able to, I know it didn’t before!
Weigh in Thursday morning as usual and I’ll let you know how it all goes

Welcome back lo_bush! I've got so many pages to catch up on - I'm trying but may not get through them all! Welcome to all the new members - its good to see new names on here! :hello:
As of Saturday midday (until got up on Sunday) I totally ignored SW (didn't even do flexible syn thing) and had a beautiful meal out with OH for valentines. Was back on it yesterday with a four mile walk and a lovely roast chicken dinner! Hoping to have lost ANYTHING tonight though I'm not getting my hopes up
OH suggested something like Lipobind to help me kick start again - has anyone tried it?0 -

Hi Catt, The 'Valentines Break' was probably a good idea for you, we all know how hard you are on yourself sometimesI hope you really enjoyed yourself. I can't help on the lipobind front, have you tried googling it for reviews etc?

Weekly Weigh In Hi everyone, well I am back from weigh in and have managed to lose 1.5 lbs this week. Also got told off for saying is that all!!:p I have been 100% for 6 days this week and I guess I was expecting miracles!:rotfl: I still can't understand why some women who look quite slim really, manage to lose 3 lbs a week regularly and I don't:mad:
But then I put my sensible head back on and remembered that I have eaten very very well all week, have had my syns for treats and have not even once felt deprived or on a diet. So if I can eat like that and still lose a pound and half a week I should thank my luckly stars really!!
So I have decided I am happy with my weight loss this week after all!:o:o;)
Well done to all the losers and maintainers and hugs for the gainers!! Welcome to all the new members too!
Love

Afternoon all!!
How you feeling now after the op Lo-bush? Skintcatt - hope you enjoyed your blow out! you never know, straying off plan might just be enough to make your appreciate all the good food you normally eat, and help you start shifting some weight again!
Good luck for tonight though - you deserve at least a wee loss, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!
I'm reporting in with a 2lbs loss this week, that's 4 since the start of the month, and 3 more to go to get me to my target for the month!
The weekend was a disaster foodwise, but I'm back on it today! I've had a banana and a yoghurt for brekkie, and I've a nice pot of HM butternut squash sitting waiting on me for lunchtime too!!As for dinner, I haven't a clue yet - but methinks I'm gonna try and have as many red days as I can this week to give me a wee boost!!
Also, Milk has always been a big weakness of mine, I've struggled to cut it down to the one pint per day to keep within the HEA, but I'm wondering if maybe I should cut it out altogether, even just for a week or 2 to see if it makes a difference? Hhhhhmmmmm.....
