so ive just had my tea now

i made a hm beef curry all free ingredients (is tom puree and passata free )
with a jkt pot hx b

is the weight of the pot raw ? i was very very very small ??

ive still got about 8 syns left and i know ill want something for supper any ideas ?
like to eat in front of tv later on a fri night lol

Sorry if this has been answered already, but |I've not been around much lately and not got time to read all the posts (this thread moves too fast for me, lol).

If I were having beef curry with a jacket poato, I'd have had a hu-u-u-uge potato and limited the beef and called it a green day (but then I love my carbs).

If you can, I'd get the SW magazines and have a look at some of the 7 day menu plans in them. It would help you to see how to make the most of the available food so that you're fully satisfied and never go hungry.

Eat lots of free foods, don't deny yourself anything (use your syns for chocolate, alcohol or whatever floats your boat) and just watch the weight drop off :D

    Hi,

I'm doing my 2nd EE day - and it still doesn't feel right! Not sure how I can lose weight and still be eating all this yummy red and green food. Has anyone tried it and lost weight?

I find it's much easier to fit in with feeding everyone, especially as a working mum. Always such a rush to get dinner on when we get in and it's nice to just have the same. I cook from scratch anyway so it's great!

I made Pink Pudding (I can't remember who gave the recipe - but a big thank you) at the weekend and everyone loved it. Will def be doing that again.

Oh yes - it's been a bit of a winner in my groups, lots of good losses and lots of smiley members :D

The pink pudding poster would have been me ;) . I picked it up years ago from a SW forum and have been grateful to the original poster on many occasions.......this is a winning recipe for my members too.

    Afternoon all.
I am having a very lazy day today:o

I stopped counting the syns yesterday but didnt drink as much wine as I planned ! (hardly any in fact) and I didnt order the planned selection of dips and poppadums from asda that would have increased the syn intake tenfold so I think I did ok. It was nice to have a night off from plan and although I went over my syns, I am fully aware of what I have been eating and the syn value(s) and that I think is important.

Today Im back on plan (resisting the temptation to go amock with the syns again!) and here is my extra easy menu

No breakfast as got up late
Early lunch, left over jacket chips (warmed up) and served with bacon (fat removed prior to cooking) 42g low fat cheese (HEA), chopped spring onions and organic sweet chilli sauce (about 2 tablespooons - unknown syn value)

followed by an alpen light bar (3 syns) and a cup of tea (syns for milk)

Tea tonight is some lean pork steaks served with parsnip and potato mash and roasted onions.

The pork steaks will be grated with lemon zest, wrapped in bacon and cooked in the oven.

Provided its free, I will be mixing my mash with some schawtz mustard spice mix :j
Other snacks will include fruit - fresh pineapple, nectarines, raspberries and possibly some more of my hotel chocolate valentines chocolate, just a small amount :rotfl:

is there anyone who attends the SW class each week who has gone digital??? this is about to happen in our group but I just wondered how it all works? as surely we must still have our weigh in sheets and our weight record logged in our books otherwise, how will our consultant know how we have all done?

Its my understanding that the weight will be recorded in a laptop which is connected to the scales, that will be the consultants record. Your book will still be written in by the weighing lady. Each member will have a swipe type membership card so when they go to get weighed their card will be swiped which will bring up their details. You will not be able to weight more than once (like - oh no I should have lost more than that, let me run to the loo and have a wee first!:rotfl:)! Also I understand that we will each have a membership number which will also be required to use the website - so no more sharing the password:o! And I am sure someone told me that the computer is preset to the weigh in times, so if someone comes in late they won't be able to get weighed but can't see how that will work to be honest. Also you will have to make sure you prebook your holidays or you will be charged for missing a class - think it is going to be a bit of a shock to a lot of us at first!

    Afternoon all, what a !!!! weekend I'm having :(

Any romantic plans me and OH had went right out the window yesterday as he's gone down with terrible toothache, it was so bad at one point it bought him to tears. Naturally I was distressed seeing him like that and we both got no sleep last night.

I'm exhausted now from no kip though OH has perked up a little now the Nurofen is kicking in. Needless to say SW has gone on the back burner and my appetite has joined it!

    I need a hug!

Not quite yet but as soon as it all goes digital the sharing of passwords will be out the window.

I really feel for your DH, i have had earache all weekend and am now on double antibiotics and lots of painkillers.
