I have now hit 4 stone loss since joining Slimming World in September 2009.

It really does work exactly as described. I am one of those who just eats far too much, and I still do actually, that's the beauty of it.

Sadly my consultant has left and now we get a different consultant every week, which is not really very good, so I'm thinking of moving to a different local group. I don't really want to as I'm on the social team for my group, but our numbers are really low now (like, less than five a week) and I cannot see the group surviving.
  • Hi everyone, very busy with company so shall be having flying visits for a while! Yesterday wasn't quite 100% - more like 75% really :o:o (had a binge session last night:o:o) but am 100% today!

I am going to New York!!! So excited and must lose more weight and get my knees moving to do more walking so I don't hold everyone back. Had an invite from some cousins to meet them in NY in May for a week. They have booked an appt just off Times Square in the theatre district so we should have so much fun!!:j:j:j

Something to aim for and keep me good!!

    Love

Thank you so much for this information. I don't need an ESTA since I am Canadian but I am glad I checked - wouldn't it be terrible to be turned away at the border:eek:!

I am going for a walk in a minute, I am more than determined than ever - After my bingefest on Friday night I pulled it back yester and had another 100% day. If I can swing today (which I should) that will be 6 days out of 7 at 100% - Please, please, please let me lose this week!:j;)

Can someone please help me out with a quick query.....on the website it has a few different choices of Ryvita for HEB
Am I correct in thinking you can have 2 original ryvitas as a HEB on green???
It also lists 3 so I am really confused,
    Thanks x

Yes, you can have 2 Original Ryvita as a HEB on the green plan, and it also lists 4 (in my book, not 3) as a HEB.

I can see why you're confused if you're new to SW, but if you notice the small symbols at the side of the list, you will see that having 2 is a speed food (symbol 's') whereas having 4 makes it a more fibre-filled meal but is not a speed food.

Hope this helps. You may well see similar things in your book so always check the symbols. :D

Sadly there are lots of groups in this situation at the moment as SW are very short of Consultants. Why not approach the SW about becoming a Consultant yourself, then maybe you could take over the group? It's a fabulous job with good remuneration if you're prepared to put the effort in.
