have to say, I'm enjoying the freedom of being able to have beef mince in all the normal dishes I usually have. I know with red and green you can have it, but a chilli on a red day is hard to then sort the amount of kidney beans etc when you are batch cooking and conversely, only having a few ounces as a B choice on a green day always made me feel deprived.
I've got Moroccan mince in the slow cooker (I've made the recipe up!) and I'm having it with one of the Ainsley free cous cous packet mixes.
I've got some griddled aubergine slices in the freezer. The ingredients just say 'griddled aubergine' so I'm guessing they are free, but just in case they were griddled with anything that hasn't been mentioned (although I guess they would have to declaure this), I'm going to check them out first."Stay Wonky":D

Thanks Skint_Catt, I just thoughth I would go on ebay for a nosey and there were loads on there and didnt want to be buying for the sake of it. What about the SW food directory, I no when I used to go this is one our consultant advised is that still the case, and if so does anyone know roughly how much they are in class??

I've never owned a food directory and have done fine! Everything that's in it is on the syns online. I think it was £10 in class though has probably gone up since I last looked.0

Klairbear - What a fantastic loss, if you keep it up you will have your first stone off in no time......:j
Sparky - I have tried a few recipes out of the curry feast book and they were really tasty. With regards to the directory, I did get it because my laptop broke so I am back to sharing a computer with dh.....It is just easier for me to be able to flick through the book rather than waiting/complaining to use the computer to check syns.

- 4 week food diary - inc formulae to keep tabs of syns comsumed per 7 days
- "treats" sheet - low/no syns alternatives for when you want a treat (fill your own in)
- a menu sheet to jump to any of the sheets
- a walking log - logs time/distance walked and calories burned
- links - links to things Sw - inc this thread

I have a taster evening at class on Tuesday and I am pondering what to take? Its a toss up between Morrisons Eat Smart Licolnshire Sausages (1/2 syn each) or a fruit salad BUT although it sounds daft, I have no real idea on how to make one? do I just chop up the fruit of choice and stick it in a bowl?0
