  • As HEA you can have 350ml skimmed milk or 250ml semi skimmed. I don't know about homemade bread though. I've always thought with one of my cake recipes I'd work it out by synning each ingredient then adding it up. Cake is a lot of syns though, a lot!

Thanks! I already know what I'm going to eat tomorrow and it's healthy stuff and no syns! lol

I'm going to back to class next Wednesday and start paying the weekly fee again so yes I think that will help keep me on the straight and narrow.

    I CAN do this!

Well I'll damned, after all my naughty foods yesterday I've managed to lose 1lb! how that happened I'll never know

Anyway I'm back on plan today and hoping that even more weight will drop off this week - my first class is on Wednesday and I'm quite nervous!

    Todays food will be -

    Breakfast - Weetabix & yoghurt
Lunxh - Quorn sausages with carrots, onions and brocolli
Dinner - Quorn curry and rice
HE's - skimmed milk in my tea, cheese toastie for a snack later
Syns - options chocolate orange drink and possibly a kit kat later if I fancy it :)

I've just been to co-op and spotted some new Penguin bars, these are wafer ones. I'm wondering how many syns they would have as they look yummy, they contain 100 calories. Can someone look it up for me? thank you!

Well done Klairbear, thats a fantastic loss, make sure you ask your Auntie what she lost and tell her your good news, maybe she can start encouraging you instead of putting you down.

Well done Liz3y also, its great to be having a loss straight after new year.

Hi Liz3yy I cant get online to check either but I know a Kit kat is 107 cals and is 5 1/2 syns, so id imagine the Penguin will be about the same. I might have to look out for them as my usual syn biccie is a Kit kat but im getting a bit sick of them

Thanks for that, I'll go with 5 syns then and check properly once I get the password on Wednesday :)

I've just had a gorgeous lunch - quorn sausages, carrot batons, broccolli and dry roast potatoes together with a little gravy - the plate was loaded and it's all healthy! I feel brilliant and nicely stuffed!
