well done Angie!!
After only 5 weeks I am 1lb off my stone award! Still a long way to go, but at least I feel like I am achieving something.Lost 2 stone 12.5lbs since February 2011. :j0 -
Most seem to be listed under Aldi and Lidl rather then the brand names on the packets, not sure if you tried that or not but I had most luck this way
Grats on the weightlosses reported so far this week, I am nervous about my weigh in tomorrow but will report back tomorrow some time:o
I always look under Lidl or Aldi as the 'brand' names are a bit vague and all show on the packaging that they are manufactured for the store only.
When / if I get a chance this morning, I'll put the info on here and see what anyone else thinks.0 -
Well done Angie that's fantastic you must be thrilled!!!!!!
Good news:
Mug Shot Noodle Snack, Chicken, dried 54g sachet
Original 10 Syns Green Free
Oh my gosh I ache this morning. Going to try to ease the pain throughout the day so I can go to the gym in the evening (3 day hump, need to get over the third day, then you're fine)
Had a horrible dream, I dreamed that yesterday and the night before I'd had a sausage roll and a curry on top of my syns which means I was well over each day! Was really angry with myself when I woke up until I remembered hehe
Edit: ohhhhhh dear today is not going to be a good day! Feel more tired than ever (and I go to bed at 10:30pm!) went to get a cuppa to wake myself up stood there for aggges thinking 'hurry up!' then realised I hadn't turned it on!
AND now I have advanced maths, then I have to go to work:(

I just bought the slimming world magazine for the first time and was very impressed by the recipes and would be interested in giving it a go. i need to loose about a stone and a half but my concern was that it would make me put on weight as i dont really eat alot at the min (maybe more unhealthy foods) can anyone give me advice on starting slimming world of what the best way is, i dont really want to go to the weekly meetings.
The good thing with SW is you don't need to change how little or how much you eat IF you don't want to - it's all about the way you cook things (using frylight etc instead of copius amounts of oils/sauces) and the choices you make! Give it a go - especially the weekly plan as Marion suggested and see if it works for you. if you want to substitute anything in the meal plans but you're not sure then just ask us and we'll make suggestions!

I lost over 5 stone at SW before but since joining this time i've only been able to shift 1lb in two weeks! What's going on!!! After my surgery I went onto Lipotrim and lost a couple of stone doing that so I knew that as soon as I started to eat again I'd put some back on, to be honest I haven't had a gain but it just won't come off....
Using these liquid only diets (I'm presuming that's what Lipotrim is, though I've never heard of it) can ruin your metabolic rate for a very long time.
Stick with Food Optimising until your body sorts itself out and you should start to lose normally. Meanwhile you will at least know that you're eating healthily and you should have far more energy than when you're only having liquids.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
It is a liquid diet, I don't know why I went on it to be honest as I had already decided to rejoin SW but I think it was that as I was immobile and wouldn't be able to get to class for a good few weeks it gave me a chance to lose some weight before I could return. I just knew when I was taking it that, no matter how safe the doctors say it is, I just felt that it really wasn't. The only thing that can pass your lips is water or black tea or coffee, I knew that I could enjoy what I was eating with food optimising and still lose all the weight that I needed to lose...Thank God for SW:TStarting weight 14 stone 13 1/2lb

Right - Day 1 of maintaining....
After last nights 'flexible syn fest' (wine, sticky toffee pudding and cream  ) I need to be back on the straight and narrow sharpish before these wonderful new SW habits I have spent so long learning get replaced by the bad old habits again:rotfl:
This all feels a bit different, I have fitted happily with SW because although my rate of loss has been slow, I have been told the rules, and if I followed them, it worked! The advice for maintaining seems to be 'maybe increase your B choices, maybe not, see how it goes' - I guess this is one path I need to work out for myself....
I think that following EE may be a good start for me - it gives me a fair bit of freedom, whilst kind of giving me an extra B choice (I usually only use B choices on meat/fish or carbs, so as they are free, EE gives me an 'extra' one IYSWIM)
So, today is EE
B 0% greek yog with strawbs and blueberries, milk in tea (HA)
L omlette with mushrooms and tomatoes, big salad (lots of interesting things in the fridge to use up after my superfree week)
D h/m beef burger (from new 'Best Ever' SW book) with bacon and salad, w/m bap (HB) and SW chips. (all free)
syns - G&T (2.5), glass wine or beer (6 or 5 respectively) might put cheese on my omlette (about 4 syns worth)0 -
Does anyone know where I can find a list of superfree foods that I could print off to keep in my kitchen? I know there is in my book but it would save me doing loads of rather slow typing if there is one I could just print off!
I have been all over the SW site like a rash but couldn't find one!
Thanks

Look at you:D:D!! I can not wait till I type that in here! Maybe in a couple of years if I am an :A! Or I could win the lottery and sign into an expensive health farm on an exotic island somewhere with lots of massages and all my SW meals prepared for me to eat on the beach! Dream on - why not!:D:rotfl:
Love
