Well done Angie. I can only imagine how thrilled you are.
My news wasn't so great at SW tonight - I put on 1/2lb but I was expecting it to have been a lot worse. On the bright side,I am only 1lb away from my
2 1/2 stone award - I am determined I will achieve it at my next weigh in.

SpiritJoined Slimming World originally in December 05 at 17st 9lb and then followed a very hilly route. I now weigh 11st 12 lbs. Whoops, I'll now have to confess to being 12st 12lbs.:o0 -
Not much from Aldi or Lidl are on the directories really, which is a shame.
Most seem to be listed under Aldi and Lidl rather then the brand names on the packets, not sure if you tried that or not but I had most luck this way
Grats on the weightlosses reported so far this week, I am nervous about my weigh in tomorrow but will report back tomorrow some time:o

I just bought the slimming world magazine for the first time and was very impressed by the recipes and would be interested in giving it a go. i need to loose about a stone and a half but my concern was that it would make me put on weight as i dont really eat alot at the min (maybe more unhealthy foods) can anyone give me advice on starting slimming world of what the best way is, i dont really want to go to the weekly meetings.0

Hello broke and welcome:j You have to trust SW and start to eat more healthy food. A lot of people, when they first joint SW can't believe how much food they are eating, many are eating at least twice as much as they ate before! The secret is that if you fill up on low fat healthy food there shouldn't be too much room left in your tummy for the fattening less healthy foods.
In your magazine there is a 7 day menu plan. I am willing to bet if you follow it for a week 100% you will lose weight and you will not be hungry!
Good luck and keep us posted on how you get on

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was my second day of being 100% - I think 3 days is my record so we shall try for a record breaking whole week!:j So the eating is fine but the fields around here are all flooded so not taking Charlie out on long walkies because not sure if he can swim or not :rotfl:!
Yesterday I had:
Breakfast - bacon and eggs with grilled tomatoes and 2 slice wholemeal nimble toasted (free, free and 5 syns)
milk in coffee (HEA)
Lunch - roast veg - peppers, onions, garlic and baby tomatoes - cooked in 1 tblsp olive oil served on top of a big bowl of cous cous (free, free, HEB, free)
Dinner - George Forman grilled chicken thighs with peas and carrots and 300g of mcCains rustic oven chips (free, free,3 syns) I asked my butcher to skin and bone them for me - saves me the work and he does a much more efficient job at it than I do!
My normal raspbberries and yogurt and meringue for dessert (free, 2.5 syns)
I must say I really am feeling pleased with myself
Love
