I've just got back from class and i'm feeling really fed up:( I've maintained this week but I was really hoping for a loss. I've been really good too, I had a tiny bit of chocolate cake on Saturday as it was my sons birthday and he kept nagging me to have some but other than that I've been really good. I feel like i'm fighting a losing battle at the moment. I had major surgery on New Years Eve and I can't get about now, I'm on crutches but shouldn't be moving at all so i'm really feeling low at the moment, I usually have such an active life as I have horses, kids and I dance competitively too, I lost over 5 stone at SW before but since joining this time i've only been able to shift 1lb in two weeks! What's going on!!! After my surgery I went onto Lipotrim and lost a couple of stone doing that so I knew that as soon as I started to eat again I'd put some back on, to be honest I haven't had a gain but it just won't come off...I'm so glad that everyone is here, I think I'd quit if I didn't know that there are others out there who feel just the same as me. I'm going to try REALLY hard now and make sure that I have a decent loss next week.

    Firstly have a :grouphug:

Second I think you are doing really well! I fell down the stairs on Sunday :o and have had to stay home without moving much so far this week and I am already going crazy so you have my sympathy.

try to remember what others have said that it may well roll over to next week and then you will have a loss and as you say at least it's not a gain.

What type of plan(s) do you follow?

    R
    Start weight - 13st 6lbs
    First goal weight - 11st 13lbs

    Current weight - 12st 6lbs

Oh dear sendeaq have a dodgy hug :grouphug: crutches are an absolute !!!!!, if you aren't mobile I'd imagine it would have an impact on your weightloss, even just walking to the shop and back can all add up.
Keep going, you aren't doing your body any harm by feeding it fantastic and healthy food, hopefully you will catch up in the next week or two :j

I have turned down a curry, a pizza AND a cocktail tonight (three seperate invitations!!) ha, so I have chosen the cocktail, but will stick to diet coke. Cocktails are possibly the only alcoholic drink I can bare, but no no, coke it is I have put in too much effort at the gym!!

Thanks for that! You know how it is...it's just disheartening when you know you have tried really hard and have nothing to show for it when you get back from class.

I have been following the EE plan but last time I used to stick to the Green days religiously, I would always have less of a loss if I did red days so maybe it's just that combining the two doesn't work for me, I'll give just green a go this coming week and see how I go, hopefully I can turn it around.

I think it is mostly upsetting as you expect a really good loss in your first week and of course, I didn't get that, thought I was expecting that it is still gutting! I really thought that I'd make it up in my second week though, guess it just wasn't to be this week, maybe it will all change next week.

I will hopefully have made up for the lack of exersise today, like I said I'm not supposed to really do anything but today I walked back from class to the nearest bus stop which is a good mile away from class! Oppps!:rotfl:I got told off by the physios the other day as I am doing too much and need to rein it back in! How can you really do too much whilst sitting on your backside??? I'm shattered now and aching like you wouldn't believe, still, never mind...it might help!

Anybody tried that Greek Style Yoghourt from Lidl? It's in a BIG 1000g pot and the make is Eridanous. It says 10% fat on the container in large letters.
    I thought "oh well, double cream is 50% fat ... so it's a saving!!:o :p - See my logic??)

I have just checked on the SW site & it's coming up at 6.5 syns per 100g. Can this be right?

    100g = 126 cal
    Protein 5g
    Carbs 2.8g
    Fat 10.5g

Some people have found EE just doesn't work for them, but unfortunately it is just trial and error :/

Sounds about right, but 100g is a v. small serving! A normal yoghurt is 125g (for example shape lasting satisfaction) and so it would be smaller than even that!

Yeah, I got caught out with Lidl yogurt last week. Pack of 4 125g pots for about 38p, 0.2% fat - works out at 3 syns per pot! Gutted.

Have to give them to the other half now. Either that or mix some natural fat free fromage frais and fruit into it to make it go further.

Really disappointed, as I though 0.2% would be (not very much at) all!

Edited - didn't realise the word beginning with b and ending in ugger would be taken out!

I wish i had an iPhone so I could get onto the SW website when I go shopping! Would be very useful.

Also, does anyone else find it odd how on the SW food diary, you don't have to enter the amount of how much free food you have eaten? It might help, if someone had had say 10 bananas in a day it may slow their weightloss, but they wouldn't remember because it just says 'bananas' meaning 1 or 100

Just click on banana 10 times and it will show up in your diary 10 times! Also if you have pasta at lunch then again at dinner, click it twice and it will go in your diary twice!
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!
