  • Emmajane - that's ridiculous!! - Your heartless bosses should be ashamed!! I hope you're feeling better now?

HUGE well done tiggerlilly and BB!! Almost as huge as your massive losses! :T :A :j

I had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning, and I was very happy with what I saw - my official WI isn't 'til Monday though, which obviously means I have the weekend to get through!

Just how many syns do you reckon are in a ben and jerry's Sundae? My boyf (with the best of intentions obviously!!) is insisting he's gonna treat me to one at the cinema tomorrow night, since I've been so good all week :A (and plus I was practically drooling over them the last time we were there! :o ) - but I don't wanna sabotage a full week spent practically syn free!! Ah - the dilemma's!! :D :rotfl:

    Thanks

Wow!! Share your secrets! That must be great motivation to start this week off!

I am so jealous of anyone who has more days off work/school :p

Edit: Sorry burlesque you must have posted as I was writing my post. Congratulations that is fantastic!!! This board is a very positive one at the moment!!

I honestly am not sure, as have done slimming world previously and never lost that much 2 weeks in a row.
So my routine has been to have 10-12 syns a day approximately. I have been making the mullerlight and sugar free jelly mix regurlarly. I have also started walking my dog a bit more often. I have also tried to eat meals at regular intervals and have tried not to eat too many preprapared foods. But I do keep low syn quick eats in cupbaord for when hungry and in a hurry, like uncle bens 2 min rice (Mushroom) and Sammy's snack pack couscous. Plus I have altered my eating drastically as was eating 3-4 takeouts per week so perhaps that is why such early dramatic loss so far. My difficulty will be sticking at it for good, as I do not want to be back over 16 stone at all in the future.

  • To be honest people at work have said today to me hope your feeling okay but that has only been in passing if that was someone else I would of made the special effort to find out. Not bothered anymore. I’m taking it nice and easy for the rest of the week at work. I’m still very clumsy and can’t seem to grip things very well. Least the headache has worn off just hurts if I touch my head now. Thank you everyone for being so nice you have made up for my office unkindness.

Erm, I wouldn't have thought it could be a HEB, as it's pretty similar to Black pudding in terms of what goes in it (I think anyway!), and you can't have that - as for the syn value - I don't know, but I'm sure someone more slimming worldly-wise than me will be along just shortly to help out! ;)

  • Also sorry just to add in does anyone know a slimming world friendly Tomato Soup recipe that i could make?

    Thanks :)

Okay, I've changed my mind I am going to post a moany groany post.
Yesterday was my Birthday and what a day I had!
I had to go to the hospital for pre-op appointment so bang went 4 hours of my day (including travelling) Then back to work because the worst of the snow was gone. Then Aunty Flo decided to come a visiting so stomach cramps, backache and flooding. I was feeling quite teary too. I got up in the night looked out of the window and lo and behold the rain they had forecast decided not to play ball and had become a thick layer of snow (worse than Mondays, in my opinion). Hubby up at 5 clearing the snow so he could try and get to work. I'm still feeling grotty. Then just to make evrything that bit better hubby just phoned to say out of the three people in his department one of them is to be made redundant and they'll be told by the end of the month. The only remotely positive thing is that I don't have to work because the schools are closed again today.
I'm totally p****d off. Suddenly losing weight doesn't seem too important anymore.

    well done TL and BB

i have a STS :( ok i wasnt 100% good but defo should have lost something....o well... going docs today as since i started SW i have felt quite unwell...very weak and headachy and very very tired.... weird! eating loads before u think im starving myself!! and only lost 4lbs in 3 weeks...and im 14stones 5 so i have loads to lose! ??????

It is possible you are anaemic, and perhaps the change in diet may have just flagged it up, also in my first week I also got headaches and I think this was because I had drastically reduced my fat and sugar intake, it has passed now, but perhaps your body is still adjusting ? Definately get it checked out by a proffesional especially if been present for a while.
