Isn't it hard having to follow this plan with treats in the house. If I lived alone I would just not buy the naughty stuff but i have 4 boys who want the odd packet of crisps and choc biscuit and i cant deprive them just because i am on a diet.

Mmm I wish I had some bananas, I could have a serving of custard with a banana (my childhood pudding) for only 8 syns for the custard powder I have! mmmm

If I have the semolina, it'll keep until I next want it, if i have the choco pud it will sit there in the fridge glaring at me until I eat the next 2/3s!
I will wait until 9pm, do my washing up, then decide!

All this stuff is in the house because I was very angry one day and very hungry and went to the big asda and bought a load of crap I really don't want!

    Hi folks

Just been to weigh in and I have gained 1.5 lbs. Gutted :(
Anyhow I bought the new magazine so will read through that and get back on track.

    The Curry Recipe is:
    Chicken Dopiaza

    Serves 4
    Ready in 45 mins

    4 large onions
    4 garlic cloves
    4 skinless chicken breasts
    handful of fresh corriander
    fry light
    2 tbsp medium curry powder
    1 ybsp garam masala
    2 tbsp gound cinnamon
    salt & pepper
14 fl oz / 397ml stock made with chicken bovril
    400g can chopped tomatoes
very low fat natural yoghurt (to serve)

Peel & chop onions and garlic
Cut chicken, chop the corriander (saving a few sprigs for garnish)
Spray frying pan with fry light,
Cook spices over low heat for 30 secs - add onions and saute for 3-4 mins
Add garlic and chicken to pan and season well.
    !!! stock and tomatoes
Bring to boil, reduce heat to med/low and cook for 30 mins.

Voila ~ a SW Chicken Dopiaza

kandipandi , go through your book and look up , things like crisps & choc you can have and get some lables out and write it on them .
I get frenchfrys 4, 1/2 , quavers , and lots of other low fat crisps ,
curly wurly 6 , and soon , that way if you buy what you like and the kids will like , you won't feel like your depriving them , or just get a little box of treas you can lable and put it up high , just for you

sorry iv'e not done a big list of treats but just going off to work , but please take the time and lable not just treats , i do it for anything thats syned , when i do my shopping .

I buy crisps and biscuits for my husband but I get things I can have as treats too so I'm not tempted to pinch his. My favourite is jaffa cakes and if you get Asda or Tesco's own they're only 2 sysn rather than 2.5 for McVities ones. I also have snack size Dairy Milk which is 4 syns for the 4 pieces in it so sorts my choc cravings out :D
