I had a nice suprise at weigh in this evening 4.5lbs lost. :j
So in two weeks I have lost 9lbs.
I got my 1/2 stone award and slimmer of the week but the best bit is I am really enjoying making great home cooked meals and I can already feel the benfit of more fruit and veg in my diet.
I am less tired and my recent period was far less difficult than normal (my hubby did not have to get me down from the roof with my machete :rotfl: ).

Well done to all the other losers and stay the samers, have a good week everyone.

Wow!! Share your secrets! That must be great motivation to start this week off!

I am so jealous of anyone who has more days off work/school :p

Edit: Sorry burlesque you must have posted as I was writing my post. Congratulations that is fantastic!!! This board is a very positive one at the moment!!

Daily eating plan Good morning all, raining this morning which should get rid of most of the slushy snow still on the footpaths and roads. Miss the sun though:p!

I am going for my diabetic eye test today which involves them putting drops in my eyes and then going away for an hour before doing the rest of the test. This will all start at 11:30 so I suppose I shall have to take a packed lunch or something with me as I won't be able to drive home! I was going to have soup for lunch, I will still make it this morning and have a bowl when I get back.
    OMG I lead such a boring life:o!

Breakfast - Last nights leftover pasta bake - free (there were a couple of syns in there but I counted them yesterday so they must be free today;))

Lunch - ham in a wm roll and an apple - with HM leek and potato soup later.

Dinner - Roast chicken, cauliflower, mange tout, mashed potato with berries and yogurt later on.

Thats it for now, have to go and wash my hair!
    Love

Im feeling more positive today. I bounced on my trampette for a while yesterday to burn off my donuts, so I dont feel as guilty today. I have just made the kids HM pancakes with banana and hunny (they have coughs and colds) but istead of eating the rest Ive made Marions syn free ones, they were just as good as the real thing, so i dont feel hard done by.

Im having another EE day -

Brekkie - 5 stack of pancakes, banana and 1 tsp of golden syrup (free+1 syn?)
    tea with milk (part HEA)

mid morning - melon. melon and more melon (ss)

Lunch - left over HM chunky beef casserole (free)

Dinner - Turkey stirfry with lemon, chilli and garlic, served with noodles (free)

supper 2 slices of toast with jam (HEB + 1/2 syn)

    snacks - yoghurts and fruit.

Im limiting my syns today to try and make up for last night, but ill see how i feel later and maybe have a choccy options.

will have the rest of my HEA in tea and coffee.

btw we have snow!! thats the first weve seen, its enough to build a snowman, but my kiddies are loaded with colds. Ill have to go out and play and they can watch from the kitchen window.:rotfl:

:hello: More snow here but only 4cm or so, so not snowed in, though half the building haven't made it to work! :( Wish I didn't have to come in :( Roads are awful (country lanes) as they haven't been gritted - didn't get above 15mph all the way here.

Anyway, yesterday was a 100% day (+ zero syns as I just didn't need them) so feel good :)

    Todays menu; (EE week)
    B; Blueberry rice - YUM!
L; Mugshot if I don't get home, pasta, passata with bacon if I do.
D; Beef Lasagne (with possibly some garlic bread - ? syns) and a bit o'salad though OH won't eat the salad.

joey-lou - I'm afraid my class have proved that EE isn't for everyone - some people's bodies just don't react to it and maintain/gain on it, other people lose well. I'm with your 'new' consultant on this based on the results of the people in my class. This is the first time of me doing a week of EE and I really wouldn't be surprised if I don't lose.

    Have a good day all.

    C xx
  • Morning Everyone.

Think I mentioned on Monday that I was in London working and my work wouldn’t let me go home. Well I went out to get my directors lunches which is only done on a Monday lunch time trust it to be the worst day of the week this week. Anyway I fell over on the ice and smacked my head on a concrete flower pots you know them big black ones which are about 2ft+ high. Ended up having concussion and getting signed off work for two days. Work didn’t send me home after my work injury though I was still kept there till 4pm still and then had to make my way home in it.

Anyway back to slimming world had an okay week this week been 100% had no more then 5 syns a day only thing is I haven’t had that many speedfoods. But I get weighed in tonight fingers crossed

    Morning
Thanks for the kind words guys, it really helps :)

And congratulations to all the losers - it makes me even more determined to pull my socks up and get stuck in for this week!

Just got a letter today from Hospital about a meeting with my consultant on Monday:eek: I was expecting to have to wait 6 months or so for my appointment but this is a shock.
I will have to have an operation (on my ear) and last time it was borderline if they would do the operation or not as my BMI was high (they did do it though) - and im pretty sure I was lighter then than i am now.
So thats my kick up the bum I guess - I really want this operation so that I can hear again!
Last time I was sooooooo ashamed that they might send me away due to my BMI.

    So today:
B: 2 weetabix (HEB) 100ml SS Milk (part HEA)

    Snack: Apple, banana, orange

L: 6 Crackerbread (HEB) Low Fat Cottage Cheese, Muller Light

    Dinner: Not sure yet

    :)

Emmajane - sorry to her about your accident hope they feel ashamed!
