  • lo-bush that is loads to cope with, and I can totally understand why you do not feel much like being good, i see you have lost lots of weight anyway from your signature. So if you do have a blow out do not feel bad, other things can overtake slimming, but as soon as you feel better get back onto your plan it is obviuosly working for you.

Hug for lo-bush hope things get better really soon.

emma_jane1987, your work behaved appalllingly and so sorry you hurt yourself, feel better soon and definately take your time at work.

Thank you for that but I've just realised something positive after reading your reply. In the bad old days I'd have hit the chocolate/biscuits/crisps or anything else I could cram into my mouth, but you know I haven't touched a thing .............................how weird is that !!

Hi Catt, it must be warming up here too because the roads cleared enough for the buses to start running now too. How you doing?

  • Hello everyone! Hugs to all who need them.

I am eating like a soldier again at the mo! Got in last night and had a beany chilli with rice, and had to really struggle hard not to polish off the leftover rice I had. I just felt like eating, I wasn't hungry - I blame the weather!

Today has been almost as bad so far:

    b) hifi bar, apple
11am lunch(!) leftover bubble & squeak
1.30pm lunch now, pasta & sauce & baked beans! :o

AND I'm eating twice tonight :o at 4.30pm (leftover root veg stew) and I'll be starving by the time I get in from my night course, so will do something then: probably attack yesterday's leftovers! (can you see a theme - for once I have been reasonably organised and made enough for 2-3 days meals at a time!)

Please somebody remind me that you can lose weight eating as much as you want - I'm getting a complex as so much of "what I'm about" has been trying to make myself have "normal" not giant portions of everything. Its all gone out the window the last couple of days!

Ho hum. At least I appear (touch wood) to have not fallen into a chocolate craving cycle after the choccy cake the other day. Saving my syns this week for a nice bit of wine tomorrow night, methinks ;)

lo_bush - I'm ok thanks. Trying not to think about my weight-loss too much at the mo and have things going on at home which aren't good so I'm just plodding along! :)

    Hello

Just wanted to have a bit of a moan really, so please excuse me! I am a new SW'er and joined in Jan. I've had 4 WI's so far and STS on 2 of them, only losing 3.5 lb so far in 4 weeks. I have been sticking to it faithfully and mixing my days between Red, green and EE. I can't understand why I'm not losing it faster and regularly, I started at 11st 13lbs so have got a bit to lose. Have incorporated brisk walking into my day and am also eating only when hungry as I'm following the Paul McKenna programme alongside (the CD).

I know nobody can tell me the answer, I'm just frustrated! I've been an avid WW'er before and am seriously thinking about going back to it.

My leader is supportive but she's a bit happy clappy and doesn't offer much constructive advice.

That is brilliant, obviously the slimming world way is now ingrained in your brain.

mwa - I'm similar though this is my third SW go! I lost 5lbs in my first week - put 0.5 on, then have pretty much maintained the last two weeks. (Previously I've lost 3lbs ish consistently). :grouphug:

Are you drinking enough? Min 2litres but not excessive
Are you having your HEb's (for fibre - gets things moving)
Are you having your syns - needed for a balanced diet!
Red days are 'said' to be better for weightloss so how about doing a majority red week?
Are you eating plenty of superfree foods (fruit & veg free on all days) and speed foods (melon, strawberries, quorn etc?)

    C xx
