Mmm I wish I had some bananas, I could have a serving of custard with a banana (my childhood pudding) for only 8 syns for the custard powder I have! mmmm

If I have the semolina, it'll keep until I next want it, if i have the choco pud it will sit there in the fridge glaring at me until I eat the next 2/3s!
I will wait until 9pm, do my washing up, then decide!

All this stuff is in the house because I was very angry one day and very hungry and went to the big asda and bought a load of crap I really don't want!

This might sound craaaaazy, but how about throw it all in the bin (with some grotty veg peelings on top). VERY wasteful suggestion for an MSE'r but as you say if you keep them, you will only eat them and feel bad.

OR how about sticking them in the freezer?

Luckily I dont have much of a sweet tooth but if sweet things are in the house I WILL eat they and they WILL haunt me until I have done so!

They are now a sunk cost.

Throw them away ... they have cost you money and you feel bad about spending the money AND feel bad about eating them.

Don't throw them away ... you feel bad about spending the money. That's it.

    OR am I just crazy?

yeah I'd say that looks fine Chix - if it's filling you up then I'd say it's fine, but obviously if you're still hungry then pile a bit more on! :D

It's defo no more or less, than I'd usually have. ;)

they are on offer at asda at moment £1 instead of £1.99 for box of 3

    hi everyone

i've just come back from WI. Thankfully i've lost 2 1/2 lb. I tend to
go between two classes depending on work schedules. One a new class with a fresh new consultant & the 2nd a very experienced consultant.
Last week despite following EE 100% last week i put on 1 1/2 lb the new consultant told me that i should give up EE as it obvoiusly didn't suit me.(i think she was talking about her own weightloss- as she is continuing to lose weight for her own wedding later this year.)

However this week continuing what i was doing last week I went to old consultant & got weighed in & i lost 2 1/2lb.
Ispoke to her about comments from other consultant & she was gobsmacked.
She said unless i was close to target a consultant should never say that as all plans are proved to have worked.

I am going to try even harder to see my older(more worly wise consultant as my newer one seems to have blinkers on!!

to all the others good luck with your weigh ins & keep up the good work
I only post once a week but read every day and i think you are all magnificent

    take care

    jo

    xx
  • I had a nice suprise at weigh in this evening 4.5lbs lost. :j
So in two weeks I have lost 9lbs.
I got my 1/2 stone award and slimmer of the week but the best bit is I am really enjoying making great home cooked meals and I can already feel the benfit of more fruit and veg in my diet.
I am less tired and my recent period was far less difficult than normal (my hubby did not have to get me down from the roof with my machete :rotfl: ).

Well done to all the other losers and stay the samers, have a good week everyone.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

With Wii Fit, the balance board is more sensitive than you would expect. Depending on what kind of floor covering you have, you won't get a true reading. Same if the floor isn't level! We've got a woven carpet so the board sits quite level, but we found there are a few uneven bits on the floor itself, so you can get weighed 3 times in a row in 3 different places and have 3 different weights.
Ideally, like we did, you need to do loads of testing, work out where the reading is most accurate. Once you find 'the spot' only use the board on that spot and you will get very accurate results.

Most people think Wii Fit is just a toy, but it has been a central part of my weight loss so far. It gives you a kick up the bum if you haven't been on,, keeps track of your weight and BMI and gives you something to work towards.

Don't give up on it, Biker - it does work! :j

morning all........wel, after my 50+ syn fest yesterday afternoon (whoops!) ........I've weighed in and lost 2 pounds ,

That also means I've lost 1 stone and so got
    1_stone.jpg

that was my first mini target........so now I need a new one. I know things will really slow down and I need to be realistic. I go on holiday 7 weeks today, so my next target is to lose 7 pounds for my holiday.

I am also exactly the top weight recommended for a wii fit now, not that I can afford a wii or a wii feet (sob!) but I was a stone over the top weight limit for the board - now I'm exactly the limit so that's another incentive - keep going and keep getting under the limit!

    Have a good one everyone!
