Ha Ha, yeah I only use my syns on alcohol......yeah a few people said that about healthy extras - i'll make sure i do!

2 questions. Firstly these Extra easy days, can i mix and match them with red and green days say in a week. e.g. Monday red day, tues green day, wed ee day??
Secondly Whats the main ingredient for that pudding rice recipe and is it completely syn free?

    thanks

Yes I believe you can mix the days up ;)
The pudding rice is rice plus a free yogurt eg muller. I use short grain mainly but have been known to use any rice that I have left over :)
    It is indeed syn free:D

Any other free dessert ideas? I'm loving the muller lights and fruit at the moment. Does anyone know what the lowest syn chocolate is?
  • skinto off top head

    2 finger kitkat 5.5syns
    curly wurly 6syns
or crush a scan bran and hold it together with nutella...a tablespoon is 4syns...so its ur call.... think angie/marion or peacy out that recipe up as the SW version of ferrero rocher and its fab! although being as lazy as i am i just spread quarter of a tbsp on a scan bran hence a fab 1.5 syn snack!

Surely, only free on green or EE? Rice isn't free on red days. Maybe pudding rice is different?

You are right ....sorry I get bogged down with my own eating plan as I only ever do EE or green...so therefore free on these days but not on red!!!

Just keeping you on your toes! *wink wink*

No, it catches me out sometimes, as you think of it as pudding rather than rice or pasta - like cous cous and semolina really, simple quick filling food!

Glad we got that sorted! :j

I am so hungry but I've already eaten lunch :(
Half tempted to have a pasta and sauce as a snack...
Or i might have a HEa/HEb bowl of weetabix. Was planning a free tea tonight anyway, but I'd like some leeway for a post dinner snack. Will properly make that my syns

hi guys..thanks for your messages! may i ask what is EE...?

    Extra Easy (courtesy of Crapwithmoney):

Extra easy is a new 3rd alternative to red and green days, basically, you can only have 1 HEA and 1 HEB per day, but everything which is free on a red and a green day is free too, so for example you could have a plate with as much chicken and potatoes on it as you wanted. Does that make sense? They also recommend, that to aid your weight loss, you fill your plate with 1/3 superfree foods - which is obviously mostly fruit or veg.

Then for anything which carries a syn value, if the value varied on a red or green day, you would count it as the lower of the 2 values.

    Hi all :hello:

I joined my local group 4 weeks ago and have so far lost 10.5lbs which I am really pleased with. I have just sat and worked out a rough idea of how much I want to lose and it's at least another 100lbs to get me to a healthy weight which is really daunting so I'm going to forget I ever worked that number out. I don't plan to set any kind of actual target for a long time yet, just lots of mini ones!

Thank you for the muller light and rice idea, I made it this afternoon and it was yummy! It's really interesting to read everyones menu plans, pick up ideas and to see how well it is working for you all.
