  • C with money, hope your mum feeling okay after nasty sounding fall.

Thanks Tiggerlilly (and Nic!) - I think she's fine though! The cut itself wasn't that bad (once we'd cleared our way through the stupid amount of blood that seemed to come from it!) - it was just because it was her head, we were a bit worried that she could've cracked her skull or something like that - but she isn't showing any symptoms, I think she'll just have a bit of a headache for a few days!

  • Nic - I didn't realise you lived in Ayrshire - you're just down the road from me! ;) Well kind of - but I cover our Prestwick branch so I'm down that way at least a few times a week!

You should defo give bodyattack a try, it wasn't nearly as scary as I expected! Some of the routines were a wee bit harder to get to grips with, but she gives alternatives for newbies, which aren't anywhere near as confusing!! My shoulders are really sore today too - but a good pain so I'm quite happy! :D

    xx

Just a quick question, Can froamge frais be used with sweet stuff? I have just made two savoury dips with fromage frais, but would like to make a sweet dip with leftover froamge frais, is this possible? I was thinking of mixing it with a muller yoghurt and blend with strawberries.

  • Hi again
Just been reading back a few pages and have just looked up this Joes sausages and burgers etc! It looks great! I'm presuming they're just free on Red and EE days though? They'd be nice to have in the freezer for those lazy days when you just cannot be bothered chopping onions and getting your hands all dirty patting mince meat into patties!

Welcome Student Girl and Nic!! This site is brilliant - really informative and helpful!

Oooo Nic - that sounds so nice, HM Casserole! I had a go at weekend and put some casserole steak in with veg and an XO at 11am on High (After browning the meat) but by 7pm it still wasn't done! Had to shut HB up with a Rivita and Glass of Red for 1.5Hrs while I threw it in the oven at 200!!

    Afternoon all!!

Oh - and to make things a bit cheaper me and mum are big fans of red days, but obviously meat and fish is extortionate - so we've recently swapped over to using frozen chicken fillets etc - obviously they're not quite as good as fresh, but as long as you're a bit creative with how you serve them - you really won't notice the difference! (PS Frozen meat/fish is still ok - right?)

    xx

Glad your Mum is ok CWM and yes frozen meat and fish is fine!:T

I did MB - and lots of 'em!! :D There's a funny wee cross over knee kick she does that I can't quite get my head round yet - but the rest of it was fine! Have you ever done, legs bums and tums? I thought it was bit like the cardio bit at the start of that?

That's rotten it was cancelled - but well done you for going it alone!! :A :T I'd probably have used that as an excuse to go home! :o

    I wouldn't say you've blown it - and actually, I wouldn't say 2 Pasta and Sauces was a HUGE portion either! But maybe's I'm just a grubber!

You don't have to control your portion sizes, if you're hungry you should eat - and if you're doing a fair bit of exercise, then you probably should be hungrier than usual. As far as I understand it, you can eat as much as you like on SW, but obviously, if you're massively overeating, even if it is the right kind of food, then it'll at least slow your weight loss down - if not stop it.

Although I know I can as much as I like, I still try to follow the "if you're hungry, eat. If you're not, don't" - well - that's the theory anyway! :D

Marion - Is the Caesar dressing worth buying? I love caesar salad, but £1.99 was a lot to spend if it wasnt very good. Im sick of Kraft Italian dressing, its nice but I always have that on my salads. I also 2nd what Angie said about the water, I was a bit naughty with wine and crisps at the weekend, but I had been drinking 2 litres of water each day and I lost 1 lb. But I also feel my skin feels less dry and looks brighter.
Oh and theres not a drop of snow here at all for 3 days (Ayrshire) I drove 25 miles to Glasgow on Monday and almost had to stay the night, then managed home and absolutly no snow at all.

CPM - glad to hear your mums ok. Well done on the body attack, I was going to go on Sunday, but chickened out the excuse' ive nothing to wear' could be heard. I might try it next week, sounds like you enjoyed it.

I got the spray ceaser dressing at Tesco, think it was with the other dressings?

Oh thank you, I must admit I only tried on line at Tesco and I know they dont always put everything on their site so I will have a look in store next time I go.

It does sound lovely. I had gone off salads but because I was buying cheap (limp) lettuce. Going to try some crispy lettuce hearts with eggs, bacon and the dressing when I find it!
