lovely menu although I dont think I could eat the cereal as Im not a big cereal eater. why didnt you like your noodles? i can take or leave them but found them quick and easy and perfect to incorporate with other things, stir fry veg, quorn sausages etc
I am a huuuuge cereal eater. I am a breakfast food eater in fact. Before slimming world my diet consisted of breakfast food, and nothing else. Cereal/toast for breakfast, cereal or toast or crumpets for lunch, more cereal for dinner, and snacks of cereal in between :eek:angie_loves_veg wrote: »'pork' simply describes the animal - in no respect does it explain the part of the animal or the 'leanness' of the animal part used.

Oh, doesn't sound too fun!
 That sums up FF (fast forward) very well
It is indeed a 'secret plan' given out by consultants to struggling members as a last chance salloon weight loss plan. It is a two week (maximum) program that you follow by being allocated a set number of 'units' (based on weight and gender) and having to make meal choices (prescribed, detailed and dull) based on those units. There is no free food, no choice.
If it is necessary, then it is great - you never go hungry, you reasses your 'diet' and you make some real progress, hopefully kick starting your metabolism and hence your weightloss journey.
It is not easy, simple or something to be approached in a half hearted manner. I would totally recommend it to the right person, and recommend that you steer well clear if you are not that person.
I used it for one week, lost 6 lb:eek: , and have stayed on the 'main' plans since. It works, but I will only use it if I need to. 'Doesn't sound too fun' is a darn good description :rotfl:0 -

a high pork content could easily be fat/gristle/belly etc (thus high syn), a lower pork content will include non pork (but possibly low syn) 'fillers'
does that help?
yes thank you and now thinking of changing my valentines menu to steak mash and roasted veg!!0 -
They were just a bit funny really, never had them before and was just a bit surprised at how rubbery they were! I suppose they would be good to keep in the cupboard though if you ever need something like that, I may reconsider!

I hate my slimming world group. the woman is absolutely useless and made me feel about this big >> . for putting on a bit of weight, despite me saying i was fine with it and I had genuinely expected it. I've just swapped groups because I moved house and it's too far to go to my old one (which was awesome). I've just got home and want to eat myself into a stupor. Or go to Nando's. I think I will do the latter.
Hi the behaviour of the consultant was not great was it, perhaps you could phone this consultant and explain how she made you feel. If you do not feel comfortable talking to her and are unhappy with her attitude what about contacting the area slimming world representative and talking to them about that consultant. Just remember even if you did go a bit mad with your food tonight, tomorrow is a new day so get back on the slimming world plan and come on here whenever you need advice or support, they all seem very nice here. A big hug for you feeling rubbish tonight and a smile of support for tommorrow.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0 -

And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
And forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your Syns a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the strugglers, when loosing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
That the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
But facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,
If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!0
