Hi Ladies :hello:
I did really well on slimming world last year, lost a couple of stones and felt sooooo much better ...
... Then gave up, mainly winter blues and no real motivation after wearing all my lovely summer clothes.
Now got the blues even more as put a lot of it back on again, hey ho, here we go again.
I quite enjoyed it last time so am looking forward to getting back on it.
I dont think I will have time to post every day but try to read as much as possible.
Today I have had ...
Brunch ... Wholemeal toast (b), 2 slices laughing cow extra light (part of a), scrambed eggs, copious cups of tea (part of a).
Planning ...
For a late lunch I have a potato and leek curried soup in the slow cooker (thanks to inspiration from a poster on here).
For dinner probably more of the above (I have made a huge amount and only so much freezer space) or pasta if I can be bothered.
I tend to find the diet easier if I dont have all my a's and b's and it worked for me last time.
The EE sounds interesting but I think I will stick with original / green days for now.
Somebody a few pages back mentioned spray light ceaser dressing. I have looked everywhere for it but can't find it. Does anybody know where I can get some from?
Have a good slimming day everybody!
I got the spray ceaser dressing at Tesco, think it was with the other dressings? When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Afternoon all!!
Well - seems like I've missed a fair bit since yest! Firstly :grouphug: :grouphug: Big dodgy hugs to all who need them!! Keep your chin's up, forget yesterday - since it can't be changed - and move onto a nice shiny new (slimming world friendly) day today.
I dunno why I bother to make eating plans, as I always end up changing them - I ended up having Stir Fry for dinner last night, rather than chops and sausages, mostly cos there weren't any free sausages left in Morrisons - they hadn't had a delivery cos of the snow! It was still free though, and I have veered off the plan yet this week - in that I haven't yet eaten a weeks worth of syns in the one day - but hey - the weekend's not here yet!
On a very positive note for me - I left work a little early yesterday, and not only made it to, but survived my first body attack class!! :T :A :j I'd maybe even go so far as to say I enjoyed it!! I was "supermanning" til my heart was content!
Had a bit of a drama last night though, my poor mum fell on the ice and cracked the back of her head open - phoned NHS 24, and although they didn't feel she needed to go to casualty, they said I had to check on her every 2 hours in the night - so needless to say I'm yawning my head off today!! - But the main thing is, my wee mum's ok!
So far today, I've had a WW Yoghurt, and a Nectarine (nowhere near as filling as my usual banana - but the ones in the house aren't quite ripe yet!!), as for the rest of the day - I'm not even going to bother to make a plan - because I know I won't stick to it - but I'll make sure I don't eat anything I shouldn't!
Oh - and to make things a bit cheaper me and mum are big fans of red days, but obviously meat and fish is extortionate - so we've recently swapped over to using frozen chicken fillets etc - obviously they're not quite as good as fresh, but as long as you're a bit creative with how you serve them - you really won't notice the difference! (PS Frozen meat/fish is still ok - right?)

Marion - Is the Caesar dressing worth buying? I love caesar salad, but £1.99 was a lot to spend if it wasnt very good. Im sick of Kraft Italian dressing, its nice but I always have that on my salads. I also 2nd what Angie said about the water, I was a bit naughty with wine and crisps at the weekend, but I had been drinking 2 litres of water each day and I lost 1 lb. But I also feel my skin feels less dry and looks brighter.
Oh and theres not a drop of snow here at all for 3 days (Ayrshire)I drove 25 miles to Glasgow on Monday and almost had to stay the night, then managed home and absolutly no snow at all.
CPM - glad to hear your mums ok. Well done on the body attack, I was going to go on Sunday, but chickened out the excuse' ive nothing to wear' could be heard. I might try it next week, sounds like you enjoyed it.

Lunch - 2 slices of nimble wm, huge pile of Asda reduced fat egg mayo, and a mountain of ham, then a mug shot and a plum. Im going to pop! (HEb + Free)

Nic - I didn't realise you lived in Ayrshire - you're just down the road from me!Well kind of - but I cover our Prestwick branch so I'm down that way at least a few times a week!
You should defo give bodyattack a try, it wasn't nearly as scary as I expected! Some of the routines were a wee bit harder to get to grips with, but she gives alternatives for newbies, which aren't anywhere near as confusing!! My shoulders are really sore today too - but a good pain so I'm quite happy!
