    Hi guys,
The pasta n sauce are by batchelors and most of them are free on a green day! I love them!
Also I have 2 questions. How many healthy extras from a am i allowed and how many from b?
Morrisons bettabuy products - would these be the value products?

On a red or a green day, you can have 2 HEA's and 2 HEB's - but on an extra easy day, you can only have 1 of each!

I don't know about the bettabuy - sorry - mum does all the shopping at ours - so I just eat what's put in front of me! ;) (Well, actually, no I do plan what we're eating, she just buys it and cooks it! :p )

  • I had planned on going to a class last night and missed it - had a really crappy appointment at the hosp, and aunt flo popped in unexpectedly - so wasn't exactly feeling energetic!! I'm almost scared to say it - but I'm planning on going to bodyattack tonight - this is about the 5th time I've planned on going - so hopefully this time I'll make it - no excuses allowed!! ;)

    xx

    Hi everyone

I lost 1lb in my first week at sw - not the best start really but I wasn't particularly good this weekend so only myself to blame. It's a pity weigh-in wasn't Friday.

Anyway I'm going to stick with ee this week so today is:

b/f - 28g bitesize shreddies (heb) and unsweetened soya mild (hea)
    lunch - prawn/pasta salad
dinner - quorn sausage, potato, veg and gravy (1 syn)
snacks - clementines, pear, muller light

    caramel snack-a-jacks - 5 syns

I'll also try and get a bit more exercise this week and be extra good at the weekend.

Absolutely. What is the point of having an apple when you could save the points and have a choccie bar later?

It's just a bit backwards really.

like a warm/hot cereal in the morning and since I have switched to the EE plan on SW I only have 1 HEB to use during the day. If I have cereal in the morning thats it gone:mad:

So I came up with this - I vary it from day to day, for instance today I had blueberry and tomorrow probably rhubarb:j

Cook 1/2 cup of pudding rice in 1 cup of water for about 20 minutes (I use my remoska). Remove from heat put into a bowl, add fruit and a complementing muller yogurt and mix together! ie rice with sliced banana and toffee yogurt, rice with frozen blueberrys and a blueberry yogurt, rice with mandarin segments (chopped) and mandarin yogurt. For best results eat straight away while it is nice and warm! Tastes really nice and is very very filling! Also free on SW so can be made any time you fancy it really!

I too would love this recipe also how do you do the salmon baked in rice sounds delish
    Thanks Kathy

I have posted the breakfast rice just above this one, here is how I do the salmon rice bake - I cook mine in a Remoska but you could just do it in an oven.

In a casserole dish with a tight fitting lid I put a mug of basmati rice, half a mug each of peas, corn, onion, chopped peppers, 2 mugs of water, a couple of large slugs of soya sauce and the same of worcester sauce. Mix everthing together then get your salmon fillets (mine were already herbed and seasoned off the Tesco fish counter) and just push into the mixture. Put the lid on and bake for about 35 minutes in a hot oven or until the water is all absorbed! Can be between half an hour and 45 min depending on how much of each ingredient used, if the veg is frozen or not etc.
