Hi again - I don't want to take up lots of space on talking about mood and eating/dieting, but I can give you some pointers in terms of self-help materials and advice on figuring out how your emotions and diet go together. Just PM me :)

I suspect your right that the Paul McKenna plan isn't helping. Sounds like it's creating a dissonance between the two ways of dieting. Lots of his ideas do go hand in hand with SW and/or eating for specific health problems, but not all do, and it sounds like it's the bits that conflict (like eating what you want when there are foods on your thyroid's definitely-not list) that are causing you some frustration? Because McKenna's CD uses hypnosis to automate his principles within you, I'm not surprised you're feeling depressed about food when you're being pulled in two different directions.

re this post- could you pm me some info re food and mood please?
    many thanks:D

Hi all, back from Mum's super roast dinner (venison tonight!) and although on paper it doesn't look like I've undone my weeks work, the scales don't look positive (I know I know ;) ) plus as I'm not hungry so I feel fat & heavy (if I feel hungry I feel slim...????)
Fancy a Hi-Fi but daren't in case that makes all the difference!

Melon and yoghurt for brekkie tomorrow, then maybe soup or noodles for lunch then pray for WI at 7.00! :o

Don't think I'll make it to WI if the forecast is right! We've only got a dusting of snow here at the mo, but they've forecast lots for this afternoon! Going to make the effort to go to work even though I'm ill (sore throat moved to my chest :( )
