I was planning on having scrambled egg on toast, but i came on here and saw Marions post about pancakes. Well I just tried them and they are FABULOUS!!! I had them like a stack with banana in between. They taste very panacakey lol. I expected them to be like sweet omlettes, but they werent. Thanks Marion I now have a new exciting brekkie.

BTW they would be perfect with some sort of syrup, but I didnt have any.

MB I whisked the eggs til stiff, not sure if that was right, but I tried to spread them as thin as possible in the pan. I also let them sit a minute before eating so they 'settled' if you know what I mean. I also had them all stacked up (3 of them) with the banana in between, They were lovely and sweet.yum

Thank you! :D I bought syrups at Aldi's when they were doing their American week, so I have blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and maple. 2 syns a tblsp, they are very thick so I mix with a tblsp of boiling water and drizzle over top of pancakes. I stacked mine as well but I didn't bother spreading the mixture thinly, just dolloped it into a small heavy nonstick pan and swirled it a little with the spoon to spread it at bit. They smell nice when they are cooking as well, don't they:j

Yum the syrups sound good. I love maple syrup with pancakes, ill try and get some. The pancakes do smell great when cooking, one jumped in my mouth before it hit the plate :rotfl:. They wold be great as part of a cooked brekkie with poached egg and smokey bacon. :p im drooling just thinking about that.

Its Tescos Light Choice Ready Meal Creamy Mushroom Pasta. I’m sure its 3 ½ on a green day. I left my password at home today and i have it for lunch. I have been so good I don’t want to ruin it just in case its too high.

Thanks. Hope everyone is enjoying the snow today J

  • Excellent thank you very much I’m even more happy now its only 1 ½ syns I’m going to add some chicken in for lunch and have an Extra Easy day.

I work right next to Tesco’s and I always try and have a ready meal for lunch. I also like the Salmon and Broccolie Pie that is only 1 syn on red or 1 syn on EE day.

Another one is the mozzarella and tomato pasta I think that’s 3 ½ syns.
