Hi Marion, can I ask how do you make your hash browns? I have left over mash from last night, do i just shape it and fry it or add an egg?
Charlie is sooo cute by the way, I expected a collie when you talk about him, just looked at your avatar and thought aww he's lovely.

Thanks you and Charlie thanks you too! Leftover mash - I would fry some onions up first then mix them up with the mash then form into little cakes and fry (using frylight of course;)) You could also gently dust them in just a teensy bit of flour first, that helps them brown nicely! I don't add egg to the mix but I normally put a fried or poached egg on the top to serve. Enjoy!

After all that the ones I am having today are actually frozen McCain ones - 1.5 syns each baked in the Remoska or oven.

Lelc - that looks good to me. The only thing is the Lychees - were they canned or fresh? Most canned fruit is HEb or synned inc Lychees I believe. I wouldn't think of eating fresh lychees but I love the tinned ones ;) )I'm assuming the cherries were fresh?)

Sorry Skint_Catt - I've only just managed to get back on the computer but yes both the lychees and cherries were fresh. Both whoopsied in Mr T's.

Morning/Afternoon everyone - not sure what the time is as laptop clock won't reset and it's reading 04.23 which is def wrong.

Today's food is (again it'll be EE):

B/f - 28g bitesize shreddies (heb), unsweetened soya milk (hea) and banana
lunch - quorn sausages, bacon, egg, beans
dinner - leftover Chilli and baked potato
    snacks - cherries, clementine, pear
syns - maybe glass of wine later

I'm also going to take the dogs for a walk and dig out the mini trampoline so that I can have a bounce while watching tv (although bouncing is a dangerous occupation given the larger bits of me that could hit me in the face and do me damage) so maybe a gentle jog!!

I need to look through my freezer too and do a bit of meal planning. My Saturday doesn't sound as restful as I'd planned:confused:

This is the first week that i have made it to Saturday without having had too many syns already.:j

I think what has helped me this week is my addiction to Muller Yoghurts with Choc Sprinkles. Each time I have had a panic attack wanting chocolate (which is my BIG downfall), I have just had a muller and that has done it.

The other night I went to Asda to get them (6 for £1.50) and there were none left, so I drove to the next nearest Adsa about 7 miles away and there were none there either ~ onto the next one about 12 miles from home and none there!!!!
I went to customer services and begged them to go in the back and search through the delivery and get me some, and they did :T - i must have looked desperate. But I got 3 packs and have made a huge dint in them already. I have taken the cherry ones into work as I dont like cherry and they have syns.

Well done Jammygal - that's a fantastic achievement!
    For me today

    b: muller and fresh mango
l: pasta bolognaise leftovers with HE mozzarella
d: chicken stir fry or chicken paella, not sure yet !

I'm having a bit of a problem with gallbladder type pain at the moment, I had it last time I seriously tackled SW and thinking about it, the time before that as well. I eat very low fat foods and then if I eat a couple of chocolates/biscuits etc, it flares up and I've had a couple of rather uncomfortable attacks over the last 2-3 days which then occur after anything I eat. I've just had a small cereal bowl of pasta bolognaise with mozzarella (probably shouldn't have had the mozzarella really with the fat content), I'll see how Ifeel in an hour or so really.

  • Oooh I had a lovely breakfast today!

2 eggs, 1/2 tub of quark , some black pepper and chopped carvery ham made into an omlettey/quiche thing, served with baked beans! The little bits of carvery ham are often cheap in our local tescos.:T

Just for KBB I had two small glasses of wine last night ;)

    have a yummy day everyone!

Hi all, hows everyone this cold sunny morning? Just back from archery - thing its all coming together and its looking good for the 2012 Olympics ;):D:rotfl: Had a banana and muller before I went, two hours shooting, come home for a free sausage sarnie (HEb + 3syns for tom sauce) & a cuppa (part HEa) and we're shortly off for a 10 mile (hopefully!) walk! :T

Thinking of fajita's or taco's tonight but we're going to try and make them as syn free as poss. I know the tortilas or taco shells will have some syns (3 each I think) but will make the insides SW friendly!

Hope everyone has a good day and avoids any naughty saturday night things! Marion - Charlie was only thinking of you last night - he was acting as a hot water bottle! :rotfl:

Sees ya later (if I'm in any fit state to type!)

    C xx
