Thanks for your replies guys, I do feel sad at having to give up the groups (again) but I know I can still follow the plan at home and will have my OH support in eating healthily.

I've got a delicious dinner on the go, slow cooked tomato sauce and quorn sausages in the oven ready to chop up and cook in, but there are about 20 people in our kitchen talking another language and using every appliance in the place. I've had to turn it all off to come back to it later

Yup, it's good and bad really.
  • Evenging all, Can anyone tell me how many syns are in the new Chai Light drinks as I have had one everyday but cant see them in the book/mag and dont feel comfortable enough in group to ask yet.

    Thanks
  • MMmmm! I've been to morrisons and bought 3 packets of free sausages at last! Woohoo! 1 will be gone by tomorrow though

I had a sausage sarnie with the white bread roll I've been on about all week (need to look up syns but I'm guessing at about 12) and then macaroni cheese which was lovely and very SW friendly - 1/2 tub quark, 1/2 smallish pot of natural yoghurt and a beaten egg heated very gently (hob on 2) while macaroni cooked.

    so today:

    b) omlette with tomato, ham and quark
    l) see above, I had it at 12!
    d)sausage sarnie with ketchup (12+1)
    Macaroni cheese (heA)

I tend to only use one HEb/HEa in the morning - 2 weetabix with milk and then a piece of fruit on top of that.

But then later in the evening I like to have a decent snack, either at about 5pm or 9pm I want another bowl of cereal.

This just isn't possible on EE so I think it is best if I try my best to make vegetarian meals in the evening when I'm on green.

I have to buy a suit next week for a conference I am going to in London, eeek I hope it's a small size!

Have you thought about syning your morning cereal - 6 syns then you would still have a HEB for later in the day?

Hmm I have done, but if I did that I think I would have to allow myself 15 syns, gotta have hot chocolate and the end of the day!

And wow, I just tried quorn sausages. I bought them on a bit of a whim yesterday, and I've never like them before, but they are delicious! I could eat them by themselves, as well as in pasta, casseroles etc!
  • Have you tried other options for breakfast? i've started having a mullerlight with frozen or fresh fruit for breakfast, which frees me up for an EE day!.

Just found out my white rolls are only 9 syns. Result!

They are too new to be on the website syns calculator, but if you post the nutritional analysis we can calculate it for you!

    we need:

    Calories per 100g
    protien per 100g
    fat per 100g
    carbs per 100g
    serving size
