magic - well done on your class! What a great feeling that must be! I would probably over-estimate the tomato sauce thinking about how high tomato pasta sauce jars are so I'd say 15-20 should more than cover it!

My superfree week isn't that hard - just lots of quorn, fruit & veg. I have used meat and pasta, but just not in the quantities I normally do!

nearly-30 - no there's not enough fibre (even brown) in rice for it to be a HEb - so syn it only I'm afraid!

Oh well, it was worth a try! Chilli on a small Jacket Pot is just as good!

magic - I have to be that organised or I'd run out of things to cook and just grab a few crumpets and some toast with peanut butter!!

MB i was thinking of going to the body attack class at my local gym on Sunday morning, but ive not done any excercise in a year, is ok for a noob just to go in or do you recommend a slower aerobics class first? I dont want to look a total plank like I did when I went to a step class years ago, they all knew the steps and I was at the front with my arms flailing about!

what are you like with lose SW chips, I must admit im quite partial to them in the evening but what I do now is put in a couple of potatoes in the micro for around 8 mins, or so theyre just underdone, let them cool slightly then I slice them, not too thin like crisps or anything. I then cook them with frylite and crushed chilli, salt and pepper, then I have them with a mountain of fromage frais on it YUM if i have an hea to use I pop cheese on them too.

  • Very good, but where are your treat syns?

Hi KBB, haven't seen you in a while! Or is it just that this thread moves so quickly? :o

I didn't have any "treat" syns, where possible I try to save them up so I can have something really special - this week its going to be a massive breakfast bap, all free ingredients (if I can find a morrisons ANYWHERE near me to stock up on free sausages!) and a synned big white bloomer - just cos that's what I've been fancying for a few days now, brown just won't cut it! :D

I seem to get a bigger loss if I save my some of my syns for one bigger treat at the weekend for some reason

I am also trying to save alcohol for special occasions and very occasional treats, and I'm off chocolate, so am not tempted by an awful lot treats-wise at the mo! I haven't eaten choccie since December, its something I seem to be all-or nothing about, and if I have it once I crave it every single flipping day and mini bars or the odd square just don't cut it, so while I haven't eaten it in a while I may as well do my syns a favour and continue not doing so! :p

Todya I had a lovely lunch - cold cooked pasta & quorn sausages sliced up with a boiled egg sliced and covered with VLF mayonaise. Reckon its about time I had an "occasional" glass of wine too ;)

nearly-30 - don't forget to syn/HEb the kidney beans if you've put them in the chilli - its something I often used to forget until I started making chilli with Quorn (then everythings free on a green day!)

I did do some on Wednesday night magic - with the horrible fish and peas. Ended up just eating the SW chips and peas! Trying to not make days red or green but I have done sometimes!
Want something like fajita's tomorrow night but not sure - could do it with quorn, lots of peppers/veg and syns a few tortillas? Might buy the smallist ones I can find!

Thanks Skint! that could have been dangerous!

You seem to be extremely knowledgeable about all this!
Could you confirm then I could have the Chilli, with Rice and kidney beans and a baked pot later with baked beans and a fry up (All free foods) if I was on EE (Just Milk during day as HEA and 28g cheese HEB for on chilli). Doesn't sound right but I'm sure that's what I'm reading??
