hey all!!
i promised to brb last night but started chatting to a friend on the phone and then settled down to a big plate of lush SW chips whilst watching chocolat.... then rmbrd i was missing a hea and heb...was planning to have choc scan bran cake but was too lazy so had to force minibix and milk... was too stuffed.... so must rbr to eat them before i eat other foods.
anyways my annoying friend is a bloke who is getting ready for marriage and the lucky guyhas just tweaked his eating plan a little and apparently big differences for him..... soe ppl are so lucky with weight loss!!
judderman god stuff on weight loss and the other person with 2.5 lbs off.

crap with money i dunno how u do spin.... i really dont like it!! the instructor for body attack told us it was 700kcals and she advised spin as the other big calorie burner..but i was like noooooooooooooooo..... im actually going body atack in 35minutes....better get kitted out..im so gonna be needing to be shovelled off the gym floor afterwards.... im seriously feeling nervous going back knowing my stamina sucks at the minute... but no..im gonna do it.... i know it really helps tone up when u attend these classes...... but im so nervous!!!

You're right MB - Spin is hideous!! Although i found it a lot "easier" last night than I have before!! I just make sure I get sat next to a mirror - then any time I feel like sitting (or passing out and dying!!) - I just look at my flabby belly jiggling about over my trousers - and it pretty much does the trick!!
I'm gonna go to body attack tomorrow (for the first time! :eek: ) I was gonna go on Wed night, but I chickened out!

Had a superfree brekkie (I think?) - Quorn sausages, mushrooms and fried egg!
Lunch will be green as I have some cottage cheese to use up (on a jacket spud)
Dinner will be cauliflower cheese with spring onions, button mushrooms and possibly a HEb of bacon.
Defo coming down with a cold - had to get up last night to get cough mixture as I couldn't sleep for having to swallow constantly!

We have our taster night next wednesday. And I wanted to make a selection of dips, quick and easy ones. I just wondered could I mix any kind of vegetable with quark and it taste ok? For example: blend a cooked courgette with qaurk and herbs and it make a nice dip? Or onion Or mushrooms? What do you think?

I just bought a Slimming World book, and I'm trying to figure out how it all works. There are some breakfast lunch and dinner choices in it, and I was wondering if you choose one of each, plus sins, plus free stuff. Or, is it free stuff plus sins, plus daily allowances? If someone could fill me in on the daily allowances eg: milk, bread etc, that would be much appreciated.0

Hi all, thanks for the great welcome and even more for the recipe ideas.
Well - I weigh 16 st 3.5 lbs (I love the .5 - that was taking the mick!). The meeting was lovely and the people very funny. I got over excited and said I'd try for 3lbs loss this week.
It seems hard to believe that you really can eat as much as you want - I can eat a lot (obviously - that's why I'm 16 + stone....)
DH wants to do it too so that will make life easier.

I know you're right about SW being Healthy Eating - actually looking forward to cooking all the nice things I've thought of for each day!
Can anyone tell me, as I can't see it in the book or online - is rice a Healthy extra B on a red day by any chance? With Pasta and Pots being so, it feels like it should be but I can't see it anywhere?
