  • Oh jeezo - it's not half busy on here - my eyes have just about gone square trying to catch up! ;) I'll need to make sure I check in a wee bit more often!

Thanks to all for the lovely welcome! :D

Hi Marion - and BB!! Marion, I'm so sorry to hear about your mum, my dad passed away last year too, it's such a horrible time, and you must find it harder not having been able to make it over to the funeral - whoever suggested planting the rose was spot on - might help you get a bit of closure (any other friends fans out there? ;) )! Just like you to stay so upbeat about it - but bug (((((HUGS))))) to you anyway!! :grouphug:

As for my eating plan, gone ok so far, yesterday I had:

b: Muller yoghurt (Free), 1 banana (Free)
l: HM soup (Free) - 2 slices WM bread (HEB), 1/2 pint of milk (HEA)
Snack: Half a carton of Cherry toms :o
d: SW Burgers (Free), Spread with Flora Extra Light (1 Syn), + Tom Ketchup (1Syn) 1 WM Roll (HEB)
    Snack: Coconut snowball (5 Syns)

I dragged my sorry backside to the gym as well, and stumbled through a step class (literally - I actually fell over the step at one point! :o ).

Today's gone ok so far - but I'm not gonna report anything 'til the day is done! ;)

Well done to all of this weeks losers! :T :A

thx, seems there have been a few changes over the years.

Just wish i realised before I ate them!!
  • In response to the people who are nearly at target and finding motivating themselves difficult, I've always thought near target is hard because you look ok. You might have looked really overweight before - and hated it - seeing yourself shrink helped with motivation, but once you are within a few pounds of target any extra weight is easily hidden. I know myself I would think that a longer jumper or baggier jeans hid everything I wanted it to!
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
    I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care

Lasagne crisps are just a way of having a crispy snack without opening a bag of walkers crisps - although you shouldn't eat toooo many..

Get some lasagne sheets amd soften either by running under a hot tap or popping into boiling(?) water till soft.

Spray a baking tin lined with foil using fry light and lay the sheets down. spray over the lasagne and sprinkle either bbq flavours/cajun or I sometines use season-all (whatever takes your fancy and is free food). Pop into a hot oven for a few minutes until golden brown ( or in my case - Burnt:( ) and then break up sit down and enjoy!!

I may have got it slightly wrong - if someone could help and tell me where I may have gone wrong!! Thanx

I was told about polenta crisps being to die for - if anyone could share this?
:)SW Convert - started 20/09/09 -3 Stone to lose!!
