... I have just looked at the link - are they like vanilla essence in that you could use them in small amounts in baking or coffee, but you wuldn't say, pour them on your porridge?0

ok , the syrup is a milder tasting syrup compared to real syrup which is thicker, it is more delicate but still lovely used on pancakes ect .
I have tried the white chocolate which is nice , the chocolate one Im not that fussed with but its better than having nothing at all ,lol ,
the English toffee I use the most .Kindness costs nothing0 -

they are more watery than normal syrup , but not as watery as water, but having said that I do squirt them over my pancakes , and i would use them in my porridge ( never thought of that) . They are very versatile.
lol catt , yeah I suppose it is , lol.Kindness costs nothing0 -
Im getting more curious about the Thick syrups at the bottom of the page that say are sugar free , how can i find info on that ?Kindness costs nothing0
-
The thick maple syrup at the bottom of the page works out as 0.5syns per tablespoon. This one does contain polyols though, which aren't recommended in quantity... (laxative effect, often used in products such as 'diabetic' chocolate etc )
Have just seen the thick chocolate and pancake syrups - they look free to me?!!.... but out of stock0 -
Hello tis I....can I skulk back in?:o:o:o:o
Well I went totally off plan last week, I dont think I had anything SW friendly at all. Just back from WI and ive gained 1 1/2 lbs. No suprise there but think it will go up again next week as Last night I scoffed 2 yes 2 large bags of kettle chips and a bottle of red wine all to my self
Felling a bit teary today for no appart reason. But going to class heloed and am feeling motivated this week. Been good so far today, and have put the pizza back in the freezer. I was planning to have it tonight and 'start' again tomorrow, but I decided that was daft and will save it for a week that I havnt used too many syns.
so today im having EE
Brekkie - shape yoghurt, peppermint tea and 4 glasses of water. (i feel a cold coming on i think)
lunch - 2 slices of nimble with ham (heb and free)
Dinner - extra lean mean mince chilli with SW chips.
snacks - loads of fruit and muller lites
treat tonight will be an options hot choc 2 1/2 syns
Im going to keep drinking water to fluch all the carp out from last week.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

thaks catt, not sure what im in for but I just dont feel myslef today, I have this awful feeling of dread, like theres something niggle at me but I can tput my finger on it. IFYKWIM.
ive just been reading back a few pages and catching up. SC 1/2 a pound isnt too bad, if they say lose 1-2 pounds a week your already doing well over the 3 weeks. So keep at it this weks and hopefully you'll have a loss next week.
Well done to dlb, Babybakey and Peachy, and to all the others who lost :T
To everyone else who hasnt lost, I feel that In January we are just loding what we put on in Dec, so the SW plan only gets into full swing in Feb.
thats what im telling myself anyway.
Flat Eric - just read your post and agree with you totally, I feel prety much the same way. I set a pretty unrealistic target and I was 7lb away from it before xmas, im now 12.5 lbs away!! I feel im never going to get there, so I think Ill change my target so its 7lb away from now and take it from there. I'll try and stick to that if I can then hopefully without the pressures of a target I can keep losing and hopefully sneak up on my origional target.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
am sure you will get there nic2075 i've seen this happen to a few people in class when there close to target, some do as your doing move there target then make there target and then find that they go past it to get to the target they wanted in the first place.
think its a along the lines of trying so hard for somethink you really want but when you stop trying it seems to come together
