SkintCatt - sorry you're fed up! Reading your post I can see that you know what you did wrong - the fatal thing of weighing yourself after you knew you'd eaten wrong stuff.
It may not be as bad as you think though - just go along and be weighed and if it's bad news at least you'll know why. Then resolve that in future you either decline the wrong stuff, have some but then promise yourself that you exercise it off and LOCK THOSE SCALES AWAY!!:p0 -
I'm feeling much the same as you skint catt, I'm only now at the end of week 2, did well lost 5.5 first week but can't get it together at all this week. I haven't been well (asthma) so have not put in the effort I guess. Wanted to be good today but didn't feel up to cooking or anything else really so grabbed a bag of crisps and a few biscuits:eek: Totally the wrong thing to do. Pretty sure I've put a lot of it back on this week.
I've spent so many years being ruled by diets, you think I'd be able to stick to one by now:rolleyes:
Last year my aim was to lose 3lb a month & I couldn't achieve it so I'm not going to set myself targets, I'd be thrilled if I could just lose that and keep it off but it doesn't take very much naughtiness to show on the scales does it?0 -
Hi can anyone tell me how many syns Tesco's lighter choices pork sausages are? My local Mr T's have stopped doing Bowyers and i am looking for a no or very low syn replacement (Can't eat the quorn ones).
TIA0 -
Jude - from memory I think they are 0.5 syns each on a red day0

:grouphug: SkintCatt I bet it is not as bad as you think, and most home scales are not very accurate anyway compared to slimming world ones. Come on gel chin up, we all know its hard trying to lose weight and we all will support you, as you do others on this thread when they are having a dodgy week. So accept a group hug and feel good about being you.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

    Yippee! well done Marion - are you still following Extra Easy every day?0 -
Here is what I am/have eaten for today:
Breakfast - fruit and yogurt (eaten at class after weigh in - every little helps:D;)}
Lunch - ham and onion omelette, 1 tblsp EV olive oil as heb
Dinner - rice bake with leftover ham, vegetables, fruit and yogurt for later in the evening.
Sort of a busy day so it is a quick and easy day to go with the extra easy plan!

Do you have a Morrisons? The Morrisons Eat Smart Pork sausages (8 pack in chiller) are free(and the Cumberland and Northumberlands versions of this one are 0.5 syns each.

Right Catt, I'm gonna have to start you off with a traditional dodgy hug :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: cos you do sound like you need one...Did a naughty thing when got home last night - weighed myself thinking well it can't be TOO bad - and I was back to my starting weight! Now DREADING WI tonight. Sat on the sofa in tears last night but couldn't talk to OH as he really just doesn't understand how much I want/need to do this.
So I know I've been very bad this weekend (although didn't feel it as majority was liquid ) so I should expect to put on, but I'm just so mad at myself.
I wanted to lose 15lbs by 24 Feb (my birthday) and thought I'd lost 5.5 of that, but more than anything I want to lose a minimum of 3.5stone by middle of June, and just can't imagine achieving it now
Babe - you did one daft thing - not the food, not the drink - the daft thing was stepping on the scales in an evening after a naughty weekend - you know how much your weight fluctuates over a week (up to about 7lb if I remember correctly). OK, so after a fun weekend, this weeks WI might be a gain or maintain, but equally it might not be anywhere near as bad as you think....
Try and think positively about tonight, you have been pretty good this week, that should balance out the naughty, but if you can try to be optimistic, you might find your step on the scales tonight is a little lighter.
thinking of you Catt :j0
