Right - speed day tomorrow (where possible!!!)

B: Quorn sausages and fried egg with maybe some mushrooms
    L; Egg salad
D; Cauliflower Cheese (HEa x 2) with mushrooms and peppers (maybe with spinach and carrots on the side?)
S; Muller yoghurts, water, diet coke and SF jelly/free lemon meringue and loads of fruit!

I know there's a bit of an egg and mushroom thing going on but i don't want to go shopping just yet!

Thanks angie - my weight has in the past fluctuated up to 8lbs over 24 hours! LOL I'm my own worst enemy. I don't think I'll lock my scales away this week but I will put them out of sight (under bed/in spare room) so I'm not jumping on them randomly (five times last night alone!) Maybe once, midweek at my usual WI time would be ok,until I wean myself off.

Angie - if you stop at 11 stone you won't really be "stopping" will you? By that I mean, you will still carry on eating the SW way won't you?

We all know that if we go back to our old ways of eating what we want, when we want we'll be back to square one and that's a total waste of all that time, money and effort we put in.

I could no more imagine going back to my old ways than fly to the moon! :j I feel so much healthier and full of energy. I know some people actually still crave for certain foods and DON'T like fruit for example so for them it feels like "a diet" but for those of us who have been converted, it's just a new way of life.

What about trying a new fitness group or something so you still socialise and get your "me time"? That's what I'm thinking of doing. Staying on SW way of eating but going to a workout class or possible Nordic walking just for a new interest. I am planning to lock the scales away and do this for a month and see what happens. I can always tell by my clothes whether I've gained anyway. I bought quite a lot of new ones and they fit really nicely so I'll know by doing up a waistband whether I've gained any.;)

aww thanks Penny - you speak wise words :A

You are right, I shan't be changing the way I eat (much!) I will have to learn to tweak to maintain (I'll probably find I'll start losing weight :rotfl: :rotfl: )

The exercise is a good idea - I will need to be fitter than I am currently to do the cycle to school in september (a necessity, no alternative!) so maybe a bit of practice before then is a good idea  . If I call target will continue atending class weekly - definately :D - even after I have moved house..

But I do need to be less scales focussed - locking them away is great as an idea, but I wonder if I could actually do it!? We all know mid-week weighing is a bad idea, but somehow it is very hard to stop doing ...

    Hi Catt,
First off, Calm down, I think you've told one or two people in the past, myself included, that what your scales say isn't necessarily the same as SW scales. A Pre WI day panic is usual for me and I think you may have had them on occasion yourself and things have not been as bad as you'd thought. Please don't be so hard on yourself, if you've had a slip, large or small, you can't 'undo' it , accept it has happened and try to minimise the damage, I know you want to lose the weight ASAP, don't we all, but I also know you are dedicated and committed to the SW way of eating. I know you can do it and deep down you know you can do it ( you've done it before after all)

I've just read that back and it sounds a bit cheesey, it's not meant to. I really think you will be fine, catt.

This is exactly what I would have said! Thanks:D:D

I'm feeling ok. Still a bit fed up and still dreading tonight - it's more explaining it to the class than what I will have put on as I'm still a 'newbie' to them, yet I'm not so it's not as though I'm still getting my head round it! I've decided to walk to class (1.7miles) so maybe that'll get rid of some (or will it build muscle, lol?)

Why explain it to the class? When it comes around to you just say you screwed up, you know where you went wrong and you are looking forward to a better result next week.:D What you actually ate or did is between yourself and us :rotfl:;)

There is that :o Thanks

Just opened the chocolate and vanilla Muller. I've licked the lid, but the smell is making me feel queasy! YUK! It was the only one I could find and I've waited all week to have it and it really doesn't appeal!
