Angie - I would call an interim target, it will save you money:money: and you can always adjust it in a couple of months if you want.
I once got down to 8st12 with WW :eek: I was FAR too thin but I did maintain it for 2 years! I'll be happy at 10and a half now:D but ecstatic if I could get down to 10st:j

I'll have my HEA&B for supper, last night I had 2 Alpen light bars and a cup of warm soya milk with a sprinkle of nutmeg - YUM! Might have that again tonight.

Well, I have planned my menu for the week, and today is going to be green (gonna hit the shops after this post!)
so. green:
B 0% yog with blueberries, blackberries and a banana, sweetner. tea (milk HA)
L massive pile of SW chips, 'fried' egg and spagetti hoopsfeel good food at its best
might even have a chip butty using (HB) bread :drool:
D Happy Chinese New Year _party_ _party_ dinner will be noodles with two dishes, one a stir fry tofu and veg, the other a brocolli and mushrooms... of course eaten with chopsticks to slow us all down a bit !!!!

Ooh, thats interesting Angie as thats something that I've had suggested for me ( I have problems when Aunty Flo visits too!) If you don't mind me asking, did you have any problems with it at all? Any effect on weight? Did it ease the flow/pains? Sorry if I'm overstepping the mark, but I'd be interested to know, you hear horror stories from people that it didn't work for etc, because people are always quick to complain but I've not heard from anyone with positive things to say, don't worry if you'd rather not say, btw.When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -

Well I could put it stronger than that but I won't
As most of you know I stopped SW back in October time as I felt I wasn't getting anywhere (and my consultant had no time except for herself (she's always in the local papers :mad:)
Anyway, started again in the New Year with renewed vigor (My first attempt in 2002 saw me lose just over 3stone in 5months and I wanted to do the same). Lost 5.5lbs in my first week and thought to myself 'excellent this is all going to go brilliantly'. Maintained last week which I didn't really understand but thought 'oh well'.
Anyway, been 100% good since last Monday's WI until Friday. Went to neighbours - pizza and wedges so had two small slices of pizza, a small handful of crisps, potato wedges (as I could see they were HM so free!) and 3 glasses of wine. Not too bad I thought as I hadn't had more than 3 syns for the previous few days.
Went to FIL's on Saturday for Burn's night (the in-laws met each other for the first time!) - again food was fine all day (synned my estimated Haggis intake - 4syns per 28g) but several large whiskeys and lots of wineSunday - no SW options for brekkie so 1 piece of wm toast with real butter (:eek:) and a v small bowl of crunchy nut clusters with whole milk (:eek::eek:) Didn't have lunch but while waiting for my OH to come back for our beef casserole Mum cooked some party sausage rolls so had about 10 (:eek::eek::eek: so mad with myself for not resisting)
Did a naughty thing when got home last night - weighed myself thinking well it can't be TOO bad - and I was back to my starting weight! Now DREADING WI tonight. Sat on the sofa in tears last night but couldn't talk to OH as he really just doesn't understand how much I want/need to do this.
So I know I've been very bad this weekend (although didn't feel it as majority was liquid :rolleyes:) so I should expect to put on, but I'm just so mad at myself.
I wanted to lose 15lbs by 24 Feb (my birthday) and thought I'd lost 5.5 of that, but more than anything I want to lose a minimum of 3.5stone by middle of June, and just can't imagine achieving it now0 -

First off, Calm down, I think you've told one or two people in the past, myself included, that what your scales say isn't necessarily the same as SW scales. A Pre WI day panic is usual for me and I think you may have had them on occasion yourself and things have not been as bad as you'd thought. Please don't be so hard on yourself, if you've had a slip, large or small, you can't 'undo' it , accept it has happened and try to minimise the damage, I know you want to lose the weight ASAP, don't we all, but I also know you are dedicated and committed to the SW way of eating. I know you can do it and deep down you know you can do it ( you've done it before after all)

i know how u feel hun. after my measly 1lb loss in my forst week i was hoping my second week would be like most peoples first week where they have mega losses. anyways i sneaked a peak as i do and weight was defo on way down...saturday morning was a further 3lbs down!! anyways i had a massive blow out saturday night...was good all day....but at night jus had a kfc meal and popcorn and 3 chocs from choc box.... and yep u guessed it those 3lbs are back on again!
it feels like u gotta work 110% to lose a pound...but u put one extra syn in ur mouth and wooosh it shoots back up.
felt crappy...but then i jus sat on the website and u can plug in ur loss per week and see how long it will take u to reach goal. i put in 1.5lbs a week and it came up as sept 09 i will reach goal....seriously thats nothing. so maybe we should stop setting ourselves targets (i set a stone on first month...that defo isnt happening!!) and looking for huge losses.... and acccept the little losses as they get us that step closer.
as for WI it could be ur star week so consultant might not be overly bothered. or just explaiun to her u had a bit of a bad weekend but generally u were very good....maybe she will have tips! good luck hun...big hugs x
