    Evening all,

I'm feeling a little better now and even managed a drive to Asda in Yeovil this afternoon

    Breakfast -
    Hifi bar

    Lunch -
Lindor chocolate egg, mango slices & beef sandwich

    Dinner -
? havent decided yet, I might just have a banana and yoghurt as my tummy is still gurgling a little!

Fingers crossed I manage to get some weight off this week, even 1/2lb would be good!

Ahhh, just like me, you managed to force yourself to have some chocolate, even though you were feeling so rough!;)

    Hello LilacLillie
    4) You say carbs of any sort are a big no-no for thyoid problem sufferers. I am no expert in this dept. but a "normal" body needs some of every food group: that is almost certainly why you are craving them. Has your doctor actually said cut out ALL carbs? Could you not have a small amount of a sensible carb, e.g. lentils, the more carbohydratey fruits & veg, a Ryvita or two? Come to think of it, what do you have for your healthy B choices? If a full B portion of e.g. new potatoes causes you to put on, would half a portion have the same effect?

Can I just say something about thyroid and carbs. Ive had an underactive thyroid for years and take Thyroxine. I always believed all the talk about carbs being a no-no and I can honestly say that when I joined slimmming world I truely believed I would do all red days because of the carbs but actually I do virtually all green days and have still lost 91/5 lbs and thats eating bread and pasta nearly every day. And I just couldnt lose weight before I joined SW.

So I would say forget what youve read/heard before and stick to SW and you will lose weight even if its a bit slower than most people. At least you will get there eventually and eat normal foods.

Thanks for all the pizza replies, especially yours Flateric, must've taken you ages to type all that!

I think I might just cut down on syns for a few days previous and then go for the standard pizza base, certainly don't fancy the bread version!

I used the lemon and lime sugar free from Asda - it comes as 2 joined sachets.

hart_sf_straw.jpg Like this, but lemon and lime.
I used 2 sheets of gelatine (all I had left!) and it set perfectly. I lined a loaf tin with cling film, added the mix, gently folded the cling film over the top and popped it in the fridge. Next day, opened the cling film, turned it out onto a plate and took off the tin and gently pulled the cling film away.
