Catt, I'm sure you're doing all of the following anyway but I'll post them anyway
A list of suggestions from my consultant when I was a little fed-up with things:
Plan your menu
Eat lots of free foods (especially speed ones)
Don't set yourself impossible targets
Check weights of HE's
Eat all your HE's
Enjoy your food
Always have at least 5 syns
increase your activity levels
Drink lots of water.
Try not to become obsessed
As I say you are probably doing them anyway but they may help someone, I particularly like the 'Don't become obsessed' one because, at the time, I think I was.

What can I put in Cauliflower Cheese (other than mushrooms) to make a neutral/speedfood day?
Thanks0 -
Catt, I'm sure you're doing all of the following anyway but I'll post them anyway
A list of suggestions from my consultant when I was a little fed-up with things:
Plan your menu I have - until the end of Feb with treats/meals out planned
Eat lots of free foods (especially speed ones) I do eat LOADS of free foods but I think not enough superfree/speed foods - I'm aiming to change that this week!
Don't set yourself impossible targets I was thinking that, but I've done it before and training for my walking marathon it should be achievable again
Check weights of HE's I do (I never used to!)
Eat all your HE's Generally I do - a Hi-Fi bar is often my fill-in!
Enjoy your food Yes, I need to think about what I'm eating, slow down instead of staring at the TV! Thanks
Always have at least 5 syns Generally I do - some days they just don't factor, other days I cut back a little (not totally!) because I know tomorrow I will have X amount!
increase your activity levels See above re my Moonwalk training!
Drink lots of water. I take a 1litre water bottle to work and drink that before lunch - I also drink throughout the afternoon and evening.
Try not to become obsessed Lol, this is my failing! I dream, think and live food at the moment.
As I say you are probably doing them anyway but they may help someone, I particularly like the 'Don't become obsessed' one because, at the time, I think I was.
Chin up poppet.

I did think of peppers, but not sure.
Normally put smoked bacon in, but want to make this week speed/superfree food week!

Chopped peppers would be lovely in a cauli cheese, as would brocolli and small diced courgette and tiny pieces of green (french) beans and cherry tomatoes ....
Good idea for a speedy week - I did success express 2 weeks back, (2/3 of your food is superfree, syns are at the highest amount) which does give a bit more flexibility to your meals without allowing you to 'go mad'...0 -
Angie - if you stop at 11 stone you won't really be "stopping" will you?
By that I mean, you will still carry on eating the SW way won't you?
We all know that if we go back to our old ways of eating what we want, when we want we'll be back to square one and that's a total waste of all that time, money and effort we put in.
I could no more imagine going back to my old ways than fly to the moon! :j I feel so much healthier and full of energy. I know some people actually still crave for certain foods and DON'T like fruit for example so for them it feels like "a diet" but for those of us who have been converted, it's just a new way of life.
What about trying a new fitness group or something so you still socialise and get your "me time"? That's what I'm thinking of doing. Staying on SW way of eating but going to a workout class or possible Nordic walking just for a new interest. I am planning to lock the scales away and do this for a month and see what happens. I can always tell by my clothes whether I've gained anyway. I bought quite a lot of new ones and they fit really nicely so I'll know by doing up a waistband whether I've gained any.;)0
