Has anyone got any ideas for lunch on a green/EE day? If I have another jacket potato I am going to scream, and I was thinking of having pasta this evening for tea.

Savoury rice? Omlette? Salad bowl if you're out and about?

This is nice, relatively quick and very filling:-

    Brunch Pie

    1 lb cooked potatoes
1 chopped onion (cooked in fry light until soft)
    1/2 lb mushrooms sliced
    1 tin of baked beans
    2 eggs
    1 tin chopped tomatoes
28gms grated cheese per person (HE)

Layer beans, onion, mushrooms and potato in an over proof dish ending with potatoes on the top. Mix eggs with tomatoes season and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Cook in moderate over for 30 mins until cheese is brown and bubbly on the top.

Free on Green day plus one HE for the cheese

Hello losers ! (Meant in the nicest possible way!!:j )

Well a 2 1/2 lbs loss today !:D So I am now half way back after my 11 1/2 lbs gain from christmas - and I am soo pleased.

I am still following mainly green days and not venturing to try the EE just yet. I have been fairly good and making loads of HM soup etc this week - I think I will continue down this route having ventured out in the miserable weather we are having

Has anyone got a good potato and leek soup recipe with no syns that I can use?

I tend to save my syns for my binge drinking (;) at the weekend - I take my pleasures where I can!!

Well done all for your losses and thank you all soo much - this thread is a huge support for me.
:)SW Convert - started 20/09/09 -3 Stone to lose!!

How about egg and chips with bacon for lunch?

As for dinner, how about having a different pasta for a change? Sometimes changing a pasta shape or type can make a difference if you are getting fed up of the same old, same old.

I noticed Sainsbury's have their alternative posh (as I call it) pasta half price..they are lovely and have a different bite. Try orecchiette pasta.

Chopped toms sauteed with garlic and paprika and then stir through a tablespoon of red pesto (2.5 syns per tbsp) and mix the cooked pasta through it.

Couldn't get a picture of orecchiette from Sainsburys website but it is 75p a box just now, here is a pic of it on Asda website...

    Yum :)
