Ok I definitely need to drink more, I'm going to keep a bottle of water on my desk from now on to encourage me to sip water during the day.

How does my menu for tomorrow sound?

    Breakfast -
Scrambled and poached mushrooms plus 2 slices of wholemeal toast and marmite ,( add bacon )

    Lunch -
Jacket spud with beans & a banana

    Dinner -
    Grilled trout and vegetables

Does that sound alright for an EE day?
lizzy try adding more fruit and yogurts , but yes this is good :T :T

where do you shop , try shopping around , like asda , tesco they take coupons even if you don't buy the item , and try going to the little freezer shops , they have lots of cheap items , poundland too .
When i go shopping at tesco or asda i look at the reduced items , things like herbs, fruit ,veg always cheap , hope this helps

So sorry to hear this Lizzy, my best friend hubby was laid off too last week, but iv am going to do something that may help you and other, it may not but tommorow i will post my meal plan for the week and shopping list.

I have 4 kids (3 are teenagers with bottomless pits for stomachs) and a hubby, so i shop for 6 of us on ...£65 a week..this includes fruit yoghurts and treats.

And all done to fit around sw, thats less than £11 a head per week, iv got good at budget shopping due to going on a debt management plan 3 years ago after being really stupid with the credit cards..but im not ashamed to admit it and am proud to be dealing with my debts.

If my thrifty ways can help anyone, im more than happy to post it.
Let me know if you would like me to, as dont want to just do it and you think im telling you how to shop.

    Hi folks.
My second week and I have lost 1.5 lb's this week. Iv been on extra easy and have had 15 syns per day, so im delighted. I was not convinced this EE would work for me but it seems to be.
I do feel more like im eating 'normally' and being a little restrained rather than being on a diet as such.
Just tried the new muller yog vanilla with choc sprinkles and it is lovely and free!!! :)

Not a problem at all, ill get it all typed up and post it tommorow at some point, may not be until tommorow evening as going out walking with a friend..body magic and all that!!lol

The main thing i have found for saving money is a well stocked store cupboard..lots of spices, rice, pasta, tomatoe puree, bovril, fry-light, lots of tins of vegs and tomatoes always on hand.

I try to buy these things in bulk or when on offer to save money even more, the initial outlay can be pricy...but once you have these things in, it is amazing what great recipies you can knock together for pennys and from buying just the basics each week.

Although my kids eat the same tea as us, they have packed lunches for school, and loads of rubbish too!! Although stangly enough they know the syn value of loads of stuff!!LOL
