  • Grr I ate hardly anything today and still managed to go up to a whopping 20 syns when I had planned TWO!!

I skipped breakfast, taking an apple and hifi bar with me to the meeting I had today thinking I'll gnaw on them if I get peckish mid morning. Took a packed lunch of pasta salad, bacon etc and low fat mayo (2 syns). Ate hifi bar about 11.30am. 2pm we still hadn't been called for the 1pm working lunch, turns out the flipping meeting run over and we got shoved on with a "quick, grab a butty from the buffet and get on with your presentation." No time ot grab my packed version :(

So I had 2 triangle sandwiches and a slice of quiche, and have just got home and finally eaten my packed lunch. So annoyed to have spent so many syns since I had planned not to, and wanted to save them for the weekend I've got planned.   Off to the gym in a bit to try and minimise damage!

Hi magicbeans, at the start I wasn't doing ANY exercise, but then I realised I HAD to, or I would end up carrying my stomach round in a wheelbarrow lol! So about July/August time I started going to the gym 2/3 times a week. I didn't really notice a difference in my shape - that is, until the last 2 months. I haven't been able to go to the gym (marriage broke up and pig husband refuses to mind them for my benefit, grrr!! But anyhoo!), and I really notice that I am less toned, and feel saggier (mmm, nice mental image lol), so I must get back! Its good for the soul too :D

Peachy - Thanks once again, my head will be too big to fit thru the door soon :D I will put it in my signature for all to see

And Furr I admire your dedication!

Hi all - had my weigh in today and as suspected I have gained 1lb - going to have a week of red days which usually works well for me. I have done EE for 2 weeks and although it is great it doesnt seem to like me!

    See what next week brings!

Well done everyone on your losses x x

Marion - you're AMAZING!!! I never thought of rice for breakfast mixed with a muller (and fruit!) How yummy does that sound! i don't like porridge, but I'd have to use a HEb anyway for that - this way its free!!!!!!!! (I don't often do red days!)

sw_mina - I chose my target weight myself. I suppose if I ever (ha!) get down to 11st, I will probably decide to go another 1/2st, but I came up with 11st cos that is the top end of my ideal weight for my height (5'6)
I reckon the last stone will probably be the hardest to get off - it usually is, isn't it??
    Anyway, good luck xx

Ah - using BMI? I don't get BMI at all... seems bonkers for men and women to use the same system but heh - I'm no medic ;) I should set a target that's not too far away get free weigh in, actually! Heh!

Is anybody else feeling a bit "stodged" on EE? I feel a real bloater today and am sticking to EE religiously. I feel like I've eaten a huge 4 course meal and I havent. Just had small jacket potato, 2 quorn sausages and baked beans. Yesterday I did pasta for lunch and wondering if it was that.I am dreading going tomorrow night to Weigh In.

Yes! Completely stuffed... but I thought that might be because my body is confused by the changes. I don't think I'm eating anymore in quantity.

    Well I think I've had a good day today - lets see;

B; free sausage, egg and bacon (all free)
S; yoghurt, 1 litre water (all free)
L; a couple of cold sausages & leftover cannelloni from last night (all free inc cheese as I counted it last night)
    S; Diet Coke (free)
D; beef casserole & jacket potato (free)

Avoided two offers of cake left over from conference downstairs - including while my boss stuufed a custard donut in her mouth

Woo hoo! Still have room for my cup of tea (HEa) and a Hi-Fi! :j

    C xx

I've maintained this week and I'm rather disappointed about it. I was hoping for at least 1lb off but despite following the plan it didnt happen. I need help!
