Thanks FE....
Today is a green day with success express portions...
B- new vanilla and choc muller - finally found some in a shop! yum! banana
tea (milk HA)
L jacket potato with sweetcorn and lf cottage cheese. huge (2/3) mixed salad with ff dressing. perhaps some melon after
D pasta with tuna (HB) and a schwartz mix (5 syns in the packet, share with DH and DD, so max 2 syns for mine) made using milk (other HA). I will limit my pasta portion a bit so that 2/3 of my plate is a salad.
Need another B choice - I find this on green days, I struggle to use my B choices! anyone else find this?
I'm now off to ga ga over a new baby (and have cuppa with pal!) and pass on my lovely 3 wheeler buggy to its new home..... the baby days are passed for me now, but still a bit sad to see the things go...
Have a great day everyone0 -
amazing losses and STS for people who had bad weeks even!
weigh in tomorrow....im an online member ..but had a massive blow out ydy as was sneaking checks of weight and it isnt going anywhere so just felt fed up.... anyways i reckon although im within syn limit my problem is i eat till i am exploding....and i really dont let myself get hungry at ALL.....so basically what my new plan is to do EE but eat when im hungry and not go for huge mammoth portions...if im hungry i can always go back for more.....
hence i doubt i will have any loss in my first week on the plan...but hoping next week i will have cracked it!
EE
BF: cereal and milk (hea and heb) muller
lunch: chicken stir fry
dinner: chicken SW wedges and veggies
supper: pasta sauce0 -
Magicbean that the beauty of SW, you should never be hungry...fill up on free foods until you pop if need be.
So if you want to pile you plate high because it makes you feel better do it, you shouldnt feel like you are missing out on anything on sw or the plan will not work because you brain will tell you that you need the things your missing.
Im constantly `grazing` on mullers, fruit, chopped carrots, dry fried musrooms, bacon and beans, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, on ee days`
So eat lots and lots and lose weight without ever being hungry!

Morning all I am just off to weigh in but feel like I have had a gain this week - I should have gained last week but somehow managed to stay the same and I think my naughtiness is catching up from last week.
I am going back to Original/Green days for next week just to see if it makes a difference. I love the versatility of Extra Easy but the extra carbs seem to just sit on me if that makes sense and I have been feeling quite bloated this week.
Big well done to all the losers x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Chocolate Orange Couscous Cake
Syns per Serving | Green - 1 Syn
Servings | 4
Ingredients
- 4oz couscous
- 8fl oz boiling water
- 1tsp baking powder (½ Syn)
- 2tsp or 1 x 11gm sachet Cadburys Highlights hot chocolate (2 Syns)
- 2 eggs
- 2tbsp low calorie granulated sweetener
- 1 x orange, rind & juice (1 Syn)
- 1 mandarin Mullerlight yoghurt
Method
1. Soak the couscous in the boiling water for 10 minutes.
2. While the couscous is soaking, whisk all the other ingredients together. Add to the couscous & mix well. Pour into a microwavable flan dish.
3. Cook in the microwave on full power for 10 minutes.
You can change the flavour just from replacing the mullerlight flavour and the fruit.
So a lemon cake would be the new lemon flavour mullerlight with and lemon instead of an orange.
4 syns for the whole cake!!!
Tried this last night, and all I can say is WOW!
Didn't really know what to expect.
For health reasons, I can't eat citrus fruit so we made it into a black forest cake with succulent black cherries.
It was absolutely gorgeous. Served it with a big dollop of vanilla ice cream while the cake was still hot - divine.
Had a few ideas for extra bits to add and other ways of doing it, so I think this could become a regular pudding in our house!
Thanks for the recipe, dlb! :beer:0 -
Nice for a treat isnt it...and i hate couscous on its own!!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0

I must admit, couscous isn't something I've had much to do with but I would definately be tempted to experiment with it as it's quite filling. I really enjoyed it, thank you!0

hi all hope everyone is doing well.
im feeling very down today i have been good as gold no lapses and yet when i stood on the scales this morning it looks like ive put on 2-3lbs i just cant understand it and just want to reach for the chocolate but i know thats not the answer. Its making me dread going to class on sat because i had such a good loss last week that people will think im not being truthfull with what i have been eating when i truly have not had anything i shouldnt have and i have only had about 5 syns a day. just dont know what im doing wrong.0 -
I don't like couscous - would I like the cake?0

I dont like couscous but like the cake..i prefer it warm, but hubby loves it cold and we hate couscous on its own.
Skinny...it can take several days for all your good work to show on the scales..sometimes more than a week..but dont worry it will catch up..at group we have alot of people including myself that have weeks like that were we havent had hardly any syns and have stuck to the plan 100% and still maintain or even put on..but rest asured it will show the week after, if you stick to the plan
Everyones body works different eg most people tell me that on their star week they tend to put on..i have my best and biggest losses on star week?? Just works different for everyone but it does work.
Chin up just wait until sat and dont give up
