It sounds delish, the cottage cheese giving it the texture of ricotta. I might use lasagne sheets though because cannelloni is such a pain in the !!!! trying to fill! And if you make a piping bag you loose half the sauce in the bag!0

I just used my hands Jemma! It was ok, but was missing something
Normally I go crazy over pasta, but that just didn't do it for me. Needed a kick of something I think, maybe strong cheese

Hmm I might give it a try anyway just for something different, getting bored of casserole! Although I do want to get some quorn sausages so I can make a sausage casserole for free, will have to wait until i run out of everything to go on a big asda and farm food mission.0

Lol, I've got casserole tomorrow! Quorn sausages make a good one, because they need the liquid otherwise they're very dry!0

I've never been impressed with quorn, but I reckon casseroled they could become soft and nicer0

The sausages are the worst quorn products IMO - so dry and cardboardy.0

Hi all
Catt, I bought some of the sugar free jelly crystals and you just reminded me about the mousse thingy...It actually has instructions on the back of one of the packs about mixing with quark. They are lurking at the back of a cupboard somewhere, I did actually buy them for that specific reason and then forgot all about trying it!!
Jemma - I have eaten a load of junk today, including a peppered steak slice from the bakery, and 2 cream doughnuts, I must admit I felt utterly sick after eating them:( but it meant I barely wanted any dinner (which was a healthy casserole) and now I am hungry, I have just eaten 4 clementines and now have a cheese sandwich in the foreman YUM! And I doubt the cheese can give me nightmares any more than I am having anyway!!!

Have you tried the cheese ones - they are nicer, not dry at all - the normal ones are a bit fry but the tom and basil and the cheese ones are ok.
The peppered steaks are like cardboard tho - wouldnt recommend them!MFW 2010 Challenge (No 68) - £133.29/ £5000MFITT2 Challenge - (No 181) - Target Reduce mortgage to £130,000Mortgage @ 1.8.09 - £161160  @1.12.09 - £159052  @ 1.2.10 £157,3630 -
I went down the cheese aisle looking for the quark, then I went up. Then wondered if it was over by the yoghurt so went down that aisle, saw someone who told me it was at the top end of the cheeses aisle. This is in our Tesco which is huge and sells everything - even fridges, etc. So up the cheese aisle I went. Still couldn't see it and with that a Tesco.com shopper came around the corner so I asked her. It was right in front of me. However, it isn't very prominently displayed and when you don't know for what you are looking it isn't easy to spot. I was glad I was in one of the electric scooters.
I am glad I am not the only one who found difficulty locating it as I thought it was just me until now."Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -

The week ahead will be standard plan (ie red or green days) but keeping to the principle of 2/3 superfree :A ... This week I am aiming for the same loss again (or even more!)
Have a great week everyone :T0
