I am pleased to report a 1/2 pound loss this week.
I am pleased about this because it has been a strange week. After my recent poor attempts at following the plan what with xmas etc, I decided I was going to get back on track.

I wrote out a fab 2 week menu. My first few days went well but I have been unwell since Saturday so have not really been sticking to the plan since then.

I hope to get back on track this week though despite a dinner party I am going to tomorrow evening so lots of free and superfree food for me tomorrow followed by dinner party (will flexi syn I think) followed by a few extra easy days :D including lots of fruit and veggies and perhaps the odd new thing :D

    hope everyone is well :j

  • today I lost 3lbs! making a total of 7.5lbs in 2 weeks since I rejoined! yaaaay! :j :j :j

Had a mixture of EE and green days, and saved practically every syn for the big blow out I had on Friday. Got a similar one coming up this Saturday now, which I think will be 10 times worse, syns wise. I'm also away with work tomorrow so being fed a buffet but since I know its a non-SW friendly one I've made a packed lunch. Really want to save my syns and eat looooads of speed foods this week so I have a decent loss next week too :A

    Menu today:
    Green
    b) Hifi bar
    l) potato & leek & broccoli soup
after WI snack - tin of spaghetti, hifi bar
    Gym class :A
    d) quorn sausages with leftover swede mash, peas & cheese, and then pasta & quorn sausages and 2 syns worth of mayo.

I'm going to add another angel smiley :A for virtuously resisting the lindt chocolates someone has kindly brought into work. I normally can't resist chocolates if they are in work staring at me, but I did resist these ones. OK, to the point where I took a bite of one and then decided I'd rather have a good loss this week and rather not start myself on an eat chocolate-crave chocolate cycle, so spat it into the bin!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Tomorrow's meal plan
    EE
    b) apple, hifi bar
    l) pasta, bacon, quorn sausages, red kidney beans & very low fat mayo (2)
    d) lots of speed food, haven't decided what yet.
  • Well done to all those who have lost weight this week.

I joined thread a few weeks ago and am enjoying reading all your news, I still have not got to a new class yet, due to combination of not quite having my diet head on and feeling worried about attending a class on my own, as struggle with confidence. But I am determined to go to class tomorrow and make 2009 my weight loss year, so will report how it went tomorrow night.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

My consultant has announced tonight that she's quitting. :(

Next week is her final week.

The group will continue using relief consultants, it will be hard finding someone to run ours. Certainly nobody in the group would do it. So we will get different consultants pretty much every week as it's shared on a rota.

My consultant was fantastic, it's a real shame she's going. I've lost 4 stone since September with her. :(

I will see how things go but I will probably have to find a different group. It's not really possible to get the proper support with a "guest" consultant every week, it won't be the same.
