What did you have for dinner Jemma?0
-
Spicy chicken burger in a defrosted white bun with plastic cheese, oven chips which have taken up a funny taste from the freezer, either that or I lost the taste for chips (I feel it is more likely to be the former
)

Lol, oh dear! Must admit, once upon a time I'd be drooling right now, but I'm not! Just don't like the feeling I get after eating burgers/fries or chip shop stuff anymore - thats what I concentrate on more than the initial first taste and mouthwatering smell (the smell is always better than the taste!)

Hello
I havent caught up with recent posts but can advise that (sadly) there is an article of the members sw site which says that some yogurts which were previously free now have to be synned.. Dont quite understand the logic - something to do with new regulations by the food standards agency.
The text readsThese tasty snacks are perfect for Food Optimisers, providing a handy snack-on-the go that’s perfect for our slimming campaign.
In new guidelines issued by The Foods Standards Agency it’s advised that the wording ‘very low-fat’ on some currently Free Food yogurts and fromage frais is too vague and that it’s therefore replaced with the term ‘fat free’. As this claim can only be used where a product contains no more than 0.5g fat per 100g/ml we’ve amended our Free Food allowances which means that some yogurts and fromage frais products are no longer Free.
We’ve got a list below of those products that were previously Free and which now contain Syns, but don’t worry, many of your favourites (including Muller Lights!) are still
fantastically Free:

Sorry to be dim, but where would you get quark from? I only have access to a Sainburys Local or a Tesco Metro, but I will check, what isle? Cheeses?
I have got soooo much spinach that needs eating up, and if this cannelloni is nice I will try it!0 -
I am pleased to report a 1/2 pound loss this week.
I am pleased about this because it has been a strange week. After my recent poor attempts at following the plan what with xmas etc, I decided I was going to get back on track.
I wrote out a fab 2 week menu. My first few days went well but I have been unwell since Saturday so have not really been sticking to the plan since then.
I hope to get back on track this week though despite a dinner party I am going to tomorrow evening so lots of free and superfree food for me tomorrow followed by dinner party (will flexi syn I think) followed by a few extra easy daysincluding lots of fruit and veggies and perhaps the odd new thing
hope everyone is well :j0 -
Yes, its with the soft cheeses (dairylea type area) - usually on the top shelf for some strange reason. I've noticed the Sainsburys one says 'Sainsburys Quark' (white and pale blue tub) but in all other shops its just Quark brand (white tub with navy writing)
You do have to lok carefully sometimes as I've often gone to walk away after staring at every item, then I've spotted it!
Well done on the loss Flat Eric.

yes in the cheese aisle. In tesco its a rectangular shaped pot about 1.5 inches high ? about 5 inches in length with a blue and white lid and red writing on top?
In sainsburys I think it is a circular pot similar to a pot of cream? Also a circular pot in asda.
In my sainsburys its not in the same place as the dairylea triangles (which are on end aisle) but is instead to the left of the cheddar near other strange cheeses? just below eye level in my local one.
In the tesco metro, we dont have a huge cheese selection but the quark is just there hidingin the middle, again just below eye level

Thanks for all the support, just reading through this thread motivates me to lose the weight. I am determined to keep positive and lose the weight I have been carrying for so long.
Well done everyone with your losses and keep thinking positive those that have gained, tomorrow is another day :j x0
