I've weighed myself and am quite surprised. I am no heavier than when I last weighed myself in October and am only 6 pounds heavier than 1 Jan 2008.
I did get on and off to check the max. weight on my scales to see if it was just saying the read out because it couldn't go any higher, but, there was still a bit of lea-way, so it seems to be correct!"Stay Wonky":D

Well done on weighing and measuring yourself - now you must write these down!! I always assume I will remember, but never do. I write on my calendar, just small, in the same place each week - I find it quite motivating
Are you starting tomorrow? if so - all the bestyou will feel sooooo much better once you are up and running with it.
If you fancy posting a daily food diary/meal plan, then we can help you out if you get stuck - would you find it helpful to plan tomorrow today?0 -
Happy New Year's Eve everyone
Hope you all have a fab night tonight _party_
Im having my first Extra Easy day today :j
Menu plan as follows: -
Breakfast - Hi fi bar (HEB)
2 cups of tea with milk from (HEA)
Early lunch : Omelette made with 3 large eggs, yellow pepper, mushrooms, chillies, sweet potatoe, spring onion and red onion.(All free) served with 30ml sweet chilli sauce (3 syns).
Tea:
4 Morrisons Eat Smart sausages served with a huge pile of jacket chips and sweetcorn (if I can find it in my freezer!). served with more sweet chilli sauce (3 syns)
Pudding : meringue nest, (2.5 syns) frozen red fruit (free) and Greek 0% yogurt. (free)
Snacks - melon (free)
Syns: Ive used 8.5 syns on food and will allow myself an extra 15 - 20 syns tonight so that I can enjoy a few vodkas / other alcoholic bevarages(well it is new years eve!) so will go over my syn limit today but I will aim to keep my syns down for the rest of the week.
My OH always gives up alcohol for jan so although I dont think I will be follwing in his footsteps, I will try to cut down.0 -
thankyou angie
i'm going to start tomorrow and need to plan for the day as the cupboards are a bit bare, although there is lots of meat in the freezer.
I'll post my plan for the day - I can recite red and green in my sleep but will just want to check out what I'm going to have if I decide to do the new plan.
Need to do a quick freezer 'audit' to make sure I can do everything I want to within the new plan!"Stay Wonky":D

OH and I are giving up alcohol for January (with the exception of Burn's night!) - I'll probably continue for as long as I can, but its about as much as OH can do! :rotfl:0

Hello BurlesqueBabe:beer: Yes it seems ok, however slimming world does recomend that a third of your plate should have superfree food on it for optimizing weight loss. It is a recomendation however, not compulsary and it will speed things up for you! You could add fresh fruit to the breakfast, perhaps some cooked carrots to the lunch and dinner? Good luck with the plan:T

hi retired lady
I don't have much in the house until my shopping is delivered on 2nd, so it's a case of what is already here and I don't have any fruit or much veg. I hav a tub of frozen chunks of mango in the freezer, but when I defrosted some a few months back, they were really unripe and horrid. I have 2 onions and some peppers, but nothing else!
Something I did wonder - what about between meals? Just fruit? superfree foods?"Stay Wonky":D
