Hi everyone. I had my weigh in tonight and Im shocked (and upset) to say that I have put on 4 pounds!!! that makes a weight gain of almost half a stone in 2 weeks!!
I know its xmas but Im still surprised. Saying that though - i have been getting up/going to bed late, ive been out every day / or night since xmas eve including two meals out (a chinese and an indian) plus several family buffets and also drinking lots! plus I had my main meal before weigh in tonight (as I had more visiting to do after class) which I never do. I wont mention the 2 mince pies and cream I had at lunchtime after my jacket potatoes.
I stayed to image therapy which Im pleased about because if I hadnt gone to class tonight, who knows what the damage would have been next week. at least I can do some damage limitation and Ive already cancelled the home made pasty I was meant to be having on Friday. Im going to a buffet on sat eve but hope to nab all the salad and leave the bad stuff!!
Im going to keep a food diary this coming week as I always find if I have to write it down - I dont munch it and all of a sudden all that chocolate thats sat on my kitchen side, I just dont fancy !
Im going to try some extra easy days and will also post my menus on here. Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you all have an enjoyable night tomorrow.0 -

12 lbs impressive huh ?
oh my judders. did you have a good time though? im drowning my sorrows with a large (unmeasured) coffee baileys :rotfl:but Im glad I went to class because I was planning on not going back on the plan properly until next Tuesday when I go back to work and I dread to think what the damage would have been then?! The important thing to realise is that what has been achieved so far is fantastic and ok its been xmas (that comes just once a year) and ok a few pounds have crept on but the beauty of SW is that we can take time out and enjoy ourselves (and ok my enjoying myself has lasted 7 days so far) but Im going to get back on plan and get those pounds off!0 -

yes have enjoyed it just shocked it's a s much as 12 lb, though I did suspect anywhere between 6lb and a stone - just didn't really want to believe it might be upper end of that scale.
I also was not going to get back on the wagon till Monday ...hmmmm ... still may not despite the 12 lb:o

Gained 1lb. :embarasse but Linda said 'well done it Christmas so that's excellent' and I felt much better about it. Couldn't stop but picked up the new book. looks good but I'm not sure I have the confidence to change over from the original plan yet as Im finding it fairly easy going and dont want to muck things up.
Already cleaned out the fridge and done this next weeks shopping as this is the first time Ive felt that I am going to stick at it and if I lose 1 lb a week before I go on holiday that will be 1.5 stone off altogether and I will feel so great getting back in my tight clothes.
Did forget to ask for the password though so could anyone let me know please then I can try to digest some of the new info. No worries if not I can wait till next week.
Happy New Year everyone too

:T Well done Rob - as I said earlier, 4 girls at class all lost 2 lb each, so it shows it can be done, some by sticking to plan.... others less so :rotfl: !
Enjoy the feeling - you have done really wellbut, as our consultant said tonight, if you have lost this week despite being naughty, be careful this week or it might come back and bite you on the bum

Evening all - I put 2lbs on this week. Not too bad considering the vast quantites of crap I ate over 4 days!
Sticking to the plan rigidly though now and hopefully get shut of those 2 extra lbs next week!
Well done Rob on your loss.
