Well done everyone - the gainers and the losers! Its quite an achievement to lose over Xmas. 5 years ago I lost 0.5lbs over Xmas - but put on 3lb between Xmas and New year when I'd gone back to plan! Sometimes its delayed! :o

Me and OH are spending New Years Night apart tonight :( but he's joining us for dinner tomorrow. Gonna miss him even though I hate New Years. Got to drive over to Mum's now but I'm scared - it's -2degrees here and everythings very icy - and I've got three tyres which are legal but very low tread :o

Anyhoo, going to try and get rid of all nasty food bits by Sunday so I'm not tempted next week. Haven't been shopping for fruit yet, but got yoghurts and lots of pasta/mugshots at the ready!

Hope everyone has a great New Year and a slimmer 2009!

    (Judders I think you've matched my record ;) )

    C xx
  • Sorry but you have posted on this forum 9 times and 8 times you have asked for the password! Just out of curiosity why not ask your consultant? She should have it available on a poster at all your classes?

Oh dear, I've put on 5lb over Xmas and my fave jumper which used to be quite loose now feels a big snug around my upper arms, eekkk!

I'm off to Asda to stock up on SW friendly foods ready for my fresh start tomorrow, cant wait! I'm also going to see if the local class is on tonight, if it I'll sign up (again!)

Here is my plan for the day - not sure if what to call it - probably green untill tonight when it sort of goes rainbow pear shaped:rotfl:!

Breakfast - fruit and yogurt with 5 scan brans (free, free and heb)
Lunch - home made bean & tomato soup - big bowl to fill me up (free)
Dinner - buffet and booze!! :D:eek::o (2 hea and about 60 syns)

I have planned in loads of syns for tonight, however the other 6 days of this week I am cutting the syns down to a minimum so hoping it will sort of even out by Monday weigh in. Happy New Year!:beer::beer::beer:

Just thought this may help someone.

  • well, I'm trying to eat all the rubbish today, to give myself as clean a slate as possible to start over tomorrow. Because I've known for a couple of weeks that tomorrow is the new start, I've managed to slowly talk myself into getting into the right frame of mind rather than just starting a couple of days after deciding (which never works for me!)

Food shopping arrives on the 2nd so I'm hoping to be able to cobble together meals from what I have in the cupboard/fridge/freezer tomorrow.

I also need to decide whether to do it for free with just the MSE threads here and on DFW, or to sign up today back onto the website and log it all through there. It depends on whether I think the new plan will work for me, but I can't see the whole plan without a password. (I have a log in already)

Would someone please PM me the password? If I don't think the new plan is for me (I'm hoping it is from what I've gleaned already) I'll do red and green days and save the pennies.

My first target is 1 stone off in Jan and then a second stone off by 26 March.

After that, well, not sure (I have about 150 pounds to lose :o ) ..........

.......gulp.........I guess I need to weigh myself .........sob.......:(

I've just measured myself - my bust and my waist are the same size    And I always thought I had a lovely slim waist but rubenesque everything else! :o :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • I am going to measure myself this time Catt. In fact I am going to do it now.

(anything to avoid my initial weigh-in!)

EDIT: gulp. I am perfectly in proportion..........but the numbers all need about a third knocking off them at least!!!!

Don't feel too bad Catt,My tummy is so bloated, and I've been so blocked up and nauseous that I did a pregnancy test.I had just finished a period (albeit a pill induced 3 monthly one),have been sterilised and have PCOS (MAKES IT HARD TO GET PREGNANT) but I was convinced it must be a baby causing my symptoms and not gluttony:o :rotfl:

My breasts are bigger than my waist but only because they are also bigger than the universe too:D

I am actually enjoying myself this xmas, and will be avoiding ALL mirrors until 9am on Monday the 5th January 2009 - then I will probably cry a lot.Thank god for leggings and the 80's revival.NEVER thought I'd say that:rolleyes: ;) :T :rotfl:
