    My food for today

    b: banana
l: pasta n sauce with milk (hea) and mozzarella (heb, but hea on EE!) and a orange/choccy mullerlight
d: homemade chilli chicken (chicken breast, onion, tomatoes, spices, garlic) and rice.

I had 2 small pieces of homemade cake at work today. Each piece was about 2 inches by 2 inches with a bit of frosting on top. 1 piece chocolate cake, 1 piece carrot cake. Obviously haven't a clue on the syns, but I'll count that as my 15 for the day.
burlesque homemade chilli chicken sounds great , i'll have to make that tomorrow , plus put two extra brest in oven with bacon wrapped around them to have for lunch with spicey pasta salad

    QUESTION

I get the free spices from the meat counter at Tesco, so it's pot luck which bag has gone in with the chicken! It's in the slow cooker at the moment. I've added a load of baby sweetcorn to it. I'm not keen on them but OH will eat them.

    Can't remember who posted it on here so apologies to whoever did and credit to them;

    Free Lemon Meringue
    Ingredients

    1 Lemon
    3 Eggs
    300g Quark
4 tbspns artificial sweetener (not granulated, must be powdered)

    Preparation

Preheat the oven 180 degrees C/350 degrees F/Gas mark 4.

Seperate the egg whites from the eggs, grate the lemon rind and squeeze out the juice.

In a bowl whisk the quark until it is smooth and creamy, add the lemon rind and juice, egg yolks and 2 tbspns of sweetener. Share the mixture between 4 ramekin dishes, place the dishes onto a baking sheet and put into the oven to bake for about 10 minutes.

In a seperate bowl, whisk the egg whites vigorously until the mixture forms peaks and they hold their shape, whisk in the last of the sweetener.

Remove the 4 ramekins from the oven and pour the egg white mixture equally on top of each one.

Return the ramekins to the oven and bake for 5 minutes or until the meringue's are golden brown.

    Sin value per serving:
    Green Day - FREE
    Red Day - FREE
