Asda have a large one listed, so not sure if this can give you a more realistic idea of the value of the Spar one if it has a similar weight

  • Hello! Not been on for a few days. The big mess up day on Friday happened, as well as my saintly muller & frozen fruit and cottage cheese and sweetcorn I had 2 Mr. Kipling cake slices, steak baguette with french fries, copious alcohol in various forms and munchies of skips and nutrigrain bars! :o

Despite all that I'm happy as there were no healthy choices on the menu, we just had the one course, and I drank middle-ish syn drinks like wine and spirit and d.coke or lemonade, so it could have been worse, an stuff it I'm 1/4 century old and deserve to let my hair down on my birthday! :D I hope I'll still do ok at WI on tuesday, I haven't had any syns on any other day so far this week and have tried to up my speed foods a bit. :T

Today I have had a funny day and was too busy to think about eating until 5ish (okay okay, I was too hungover to get out of bed until 2.30pm! :o ) and have had a pasta bake. Really lovely, this is what I put in it:

    EE day
    Boil pasta (200g?)
Dry fried onions, lean bacon & 3 chopped quorn sausages
Cook 3 cloves of garlic, chopped in a carton of passatta with paprika, wourcester sauce and tabasco sauce to taste.
Mix everything with 1/2 a tin each of red kidney beans and sweetcorn
Finely grate a measley 28g of cheese and spread over 1/4 of the bake (so at least when I eat that bit I taste it! Im too good at going back to pick at pasta bake hence why I left the rest without cheese)
Cook all in oven until a bit crispy on top and enjoy! I had a bag of whoopsied carrot, broccoli and cauliflower with it to try to up my speed foods, and a brown bread roll as my HEb.

Doubly happy seeing as I was also wearing jeans and have eaten lots today, so maybe even 3.5lbs.

also ordered the arrabiata and was soooo oily so i know thats gotta be some syns but i cant find out on the website....anyone got any ideas.

Well pulled the nutritional info from Pizza Hut site and the calculator puts it at about 7 syns a portion on Extra Easy, least that's a rough idea .. seems the SW site hasn't been updated with all the new pastas yet, lets hope its on the to do list! :)

Edit: I did find these for under 10 syns

o cool thanks for that....so syns wise i have had
    5.5syns in my salad,
say 7 in the arrabiata...probably less as left almost all the sauce (was stuffed from the salad and the oil put me off) and about

nesquik in my milk when i got back...if i look up basic hot chocolate powder on website it says 1syn....what i do at the end of the night is have a mug of milk with nesquik...nice little treat. however im not sure if the milk is a syn or not as its a HExA..but a SECOND one....and the websute says u should have one or two.... so i have milk in y cereal in the morning and milk in the evening..two lots of A....is that allowed....??

by the way the chips were scrumm!!! made the coleslaw but it went a bit yuck as it had WAYYY too much mustard:eek: hehe.... and was watery... meh all good.... eating chips with 1 tbsp of ketchup...so one syn there....so just withink limits...i reckon!?!
