Trying for day 2 of EE. My meal plan today is:
B. Beans on Toast (free, heb)
L. Bacon and Mushroom Omelette (free)
D. Steak :T (free) plus HM pepper sauce (3 syns), Jacket Potato (free) with cheese (Hea) and Veg (Free)
Snacks: Fruit, ML
Syns: Think I might have to go for a couple of glasses of wine tonight so 12 +3 from dinner = 15
As a complete EE newbie, is the above correct? Thanks in advance :A
Looks fine:)
Just checking, do you use milk in your omelette? and are you staying off the tea and coffee today, in order to have cheese as you HEa.
After a short shopping trip, I got back starving, but, managed to resist grabbing a bag of crisps:T Instead I made myself a lovely big jacket potato with cheese, onion, beans...and had to throw it all in the bin:eek: I had used a plastic bowl to heat up the beans in the micro and they absolutely reeked of plastic, a bit like poison!!
BUT still I resisted the easy option, and I started all over again:A I have just eaten it and it was lovely, well worth the wait:)
We are having chicken, mash, veg and gravy (too tired to do roasties) I will syn my gravy, but usually works out at 1-2syns.

Wow, well done you. That is brilliant.
We went out but I came home to actifry chips (2 syns for the olive oil) and 3 quorn sausages and a dry fried egg. Oh yes, and an apple while I was waiting for the chips to cook."Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -

Maybe she was referring to the ambient "2 minute" rices that Batchelors make as I know they are not free .. just a stab in the dark though!0 -

Afternoon all, I hope everyone is having a good weekend?
We've just got back from a day in Salisbury and both feel a lot happier and less stressed. My OH spent most of the day at a hifi store listening to some speakers he had his eye on, he wont be buying them now but didnt want to waste the stores time so kept his appointment.
Whilst he was doing that I did about 3 quarters of our weekly food shop at the local market. I got tonnes of fruit, veg, eggs and meat for less than £20, there was so much we might not have to go anywhere near Tesco now. Thats almost half of what we usually spend in the supermarket! Thats the way we're going to shop from now on as we normally go to Salisbury anyway for days out.
Food wise I've been very good and had an EE day....
Breakfast -
Hifi bar and cup of tea
Lunch -
Jacket potato with salad and baked beans plus a handful of boyfriends yummy looking chips
Snack -
Cadbury Creme Egg and grapes
Dinner -
Syn free sausages from the market, (they are slimming world approved and have been sold at group in the past), SW chips and tonnes of veg
All in I think thats around 12-13 syns including the chips I nicked from OH lunch earlier. I cant wait for dinner! They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

The mushroom strogonoff in this months magazine is lovely and you could just add the beef to it on an EE day.2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100
