Hi does anyone know if ASDA good for you less than 1% fat fromage frais is free? Also I make my own natural yogurt with skimmed milk and skimmed milk powder, with fat free yogurt starter. Would this be free?
Thanks for any help. I'm finding this confusing.

Can only find details for Pizza Hut. I think the safest thing you can do if you go for a salad is ask for the dressing on the side, as I think dressings are the real thing you cant judge .. the salad without dressing should be reasonably easy to identify any syns :) For example, the syn items are in red below (according to website they serve dressing on side anyway!)
    • Nicoise

Yellowfin tuna, free range egg, green beans, new potatoes and tomatoes, dressed with olives, anchovies and capers and served with house dressing.
    • Pollo

Torn chicken breast, goat's cheese, crisp red pepper, mixed leaves, tomato, olives and croutons, served with house dressing.
    • Nostrana

New potatoes, torn chicken breast, avocado, red peppers, green beans, mixed leaves, parsley and a free range egg, served with house dressing.
The Romana pizza base looks interesting as its a super thin base, that might reduce the amount of syns as I know it is hugely thinner then Pizza Huts Italian base (.. its barely wafer thin if I remember rightly) so better to have that if you opt for a pizza treat :) Sorry I have nothing concrete to offer you :o

Thanks so much for helping me out ;)
As much as I would love to neck a spicy pizza I am determined to stick with the salad option.
I have worked too hard the last fortnight to let it lapse @pizza Express:cool: .
I am going to go for the Nostamo minus the avo and egg ;)

    icon7.gifDaily eating plan
Morning peeps, it is howling wind and lashing rain this morning! I mentioned the park to Charlie and he looked quite excited till I opened the door and then he went and hid behind the sofa!:rotfl: Think I will leave it till later!

    Today my plan is:

Breakfast - fruit and yogurt and a mccain hash brown - (free+4.5 syns)

Lunch - SW Meatloaf portion from the freezer with peas and jacket potato (free)

snack - hi fi bar and coffee with milk (heb & hea)

Dinner - pasta bake with loads of added veg and very low fat soft cheese mixed through and a bit of grated mozzarella on the top (free + 6 syns) plus a glass of red wine (5 syns)

    Love
    Marion

Marion - the weather will pass over to the east - we had it last night and its a beautiful morning here now - bright sunshine and clear skies!

Haven't planned today really as we're out to dinner tonight (a place that has a Titanic steak 48oz/1360g!!!!!!!!) so I've just had a banana and a yoghurt and SF squash before heading off to my archery practice. Will probably be an EE.

Can I ask if anyone on here has actually reached their goal weight without reducing the amount of free foods? I was wondering if for example you should start to choose a smaller jacket potato or smaller banana as your weight slows down. Also if Muller lights are free - say someone had 3 a day, would they be advised to cut down to 1?

Just curious as to how it works really. My weight loss (I don't have a lot to lose and I gained a bit at Christmas so have to get that off) seems painstakingly slow at times and then stuck despite varying food etc.

I tend to eat quite a lot at my meals as I would rather do that than be hungry and not have the opportunity to eat something sensible. How do you manage your portions ladies??:)

I dont see SW as a diet but as a healthy approach to eating for life. So if the Food op books says an item is free meaning I can eat as much as I want then quite simply, I do.

I dont see any point in having that smaller jacket potato or not as much salad so that I can get to my target quicker because I will only be hungry later and then more likely to be tempted by the local newsagent for a chocolate bar or a biscuit from the tin with that afternoon cup of tea thus defeating what I am trying to achieve.

I eat to satify my hunger thus quite simply filling my plate. My consultant has told me I should keep my syns to 10 to 12 but has never told me that I should reduce the quantity of free food consumed.

I ate and drank too much over xmas but am back on track now and have planned a menu for 2 weeks including plenty of free food meals, plenty of free food snacks (if im hungry inbetween) and plenty of variety (ive been looking at all my mags/recipe books) incorporating new things for me to try/old favourites. :D
