Nandos rice is quite oily I'd say, definitely not free.

hey guys.... can i join this thread...started today and am confused with a few things.

im about to go nandos and im on green. have one b choice left so thinking of doing green salad with chicken and mexican rice. is the rice free. also please anyone have any syn values for the frozen yoghurt??

thanks for reading. answers be greatly appreciated

    Welcome, welcome :)

Sounds like you've got the right idea! Yes you can have the chicken as a HEb, if you have a HEa you could have the greek salad with it... (and syn the olives)... not sure about the rice but most plain rice is free, whereas fried rice at chineses etc has syns. The yoghurt is support to be fat-free so I...uh... usually treat it as free...? :p Perhaps shouldn't though...

You're welcome. I'm afraid it's not quite that simple - it's based on the entire nutritional content plus how filling it is... so fat free yogurt is quite filling so that's free even though it has some sugar in, but other fat free and even sugar free things (like chewing gum) have syns in because they're not filling and you can eat lots of them.
