Decided the chips weren't worth it if I was going to be disappointed with my weight loss on Saturday. So instead I am having chicken casserole with a jacket potato and brocolli, peas and sweetcorn :A
Probably an extra easy day, I don't have any scales to weigh the chicken so I will just do EE, and then have an HEb and HEa later, so much easier!!!
  • Jemma yes Tesco sell the vanilla/choc mullers singly and they are 27p at the moment!!!
Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £0
  • Hope the exam went OK Jemma - you have made a good decision re the chips - I hope you enjoy the casserole!

Judders, I have only just caught on about your job... I hope you find out one way or the other soon, personally, I find the waiting is the worst :(

Angie loves veg - Hello!!:D Just noticed that you have been at SW just a weeny bit short of my time and you're not a rapid loser either (if you don't mind me saying so). I've been just short of 2 stones for months now and this week have been on the EE every day to see if that helps. Right from the start I've only lost 1 or 1.5 lbs a week.

How do you feel about not losing weight more rapidly? Most of the time I feel OK about it, as I feel really well and very healthy but just occasionally I wish I could just lose even a pound for a few weeks on the trot.

I'm sure all your clothes feel better, mine do.;) I've bought lots of new stuff and given away stuff that was too loose and did me no favours. I do loads of walking now and have upped my pace but that's not making the weight come off either. At least I'm not gaining. People say that losing it slowly is better for you and I tend to agree, what do you think Angie? Hope you don't mind me asking.:D

:D It's nice not to be the only one :D sorry :o

I have hovvered around 1 st 7lb for over 2 months now - my target is probably 2 st, so whilst my consultant says 'ah, but you don't have much to lose...', she fails to spot that I have never lost the '1 to 2 lb a week' that SW say is realistic

My first week I lost 1.5 lb, and apart from my Fast forward week (when I lost 6lb and then put 4 lb of it back over the next month) that was pretty much my biggest loss!

I think we probably feel very similarly - most of the time I'm fine - we eat lovely food, I enjoy my treats and I have lost 3 dress sizes and look and feel much better - the compliments are a great ego boost :D - it is just occasionally that I think 'I have worked really hard this week, avoided temptation and frankly deserve more that 1/2 lb loss'.. that is what gets me down :o

I think a slow loss is great for you health wise, but I am the first to admit that sometimes I need a bit more motivation than that alone. I would also love to get to target so that I can stop throwing money at my consultant, but still go to class for the support

So, you have probably noticed that I have set myself a huge challenge - I will aim to lose 7 lb in a month    by sticking to sucess express and eating mainly superfree breakfast and lunch. My veg intake is going to skyrocket, and I will try to achieve this by valentines day!:rotfl:

I might not make it, but at least I can give it my best shot ;)
